2676 Whitney Ave, HamdenI can’t recommend this grooming service enough! I have two German Shepherds, Riley and Ranger, and anyone who knows the breed knows that’s a lot of dog—and a lot of fur! Every time they come home, they look and smell amazing. Their coats are soft, shiny, and beautifully groomed, and the attention to detail is incredible.
What means the most to me is the love and patience they show my dogs. Riley and Ranger are treated with kindness and care, and it’s obvious they are in the hands of someone who truly loves animals. That kind of trust is priceless.
Professional, dependable, and genuinely caring, they consistently go above and beyond. Riley and Ranger always leave happy, and so do I. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pets like family and do an outstanding job, I highly recommend this grooming service. Five stars all the way!

We visited them this morning for my Roobi dog's annual check up and everything was calm and smooth as it always is. I love how they treat my pittie mix in every way. She is very anxious and is wildly more comfortable here than our previous vet experience, I almost don't even recognize her compared. I still hear her grumbling and mumbling when they take her to the back for tests, but she SCREAMS at other vets. Bone chilling stuff, but not at Spring Glen. They just have a way with space as much as touch. Our last vet was full of echos and metal, there was never enough traznadone, but this one is wooden and still and kind and slower, I wonder if she actually needs trazn (probably tbh so I just give it as usual). For example, while in a med exam room, I cannot hear the other rooms.. Im sure the animals can, but not in an overwhelming way that echos and shakes them.
Additionally, Ive recently found a stray kitty on my day to day that loves being living with Roobi and I. Kayla kindly talked me through what it looks like if a cat is in a heat, how to know if she is in trouble, tried to help me guess her age, and was very transparent about the price of keeping her in my household under their care!! She put my mind at ease to all of the random feedback I had been receiving. I have had Hobbit for about 6 months, without any response to lost pet ads, and was feeling worried about what to prioritize.
Getting this information about my found kitten Hobbit following a great check up with Roobi... after (shout out) DR MAGS AND HIS TEAM ❤️❤️❤️ pristinely removed my dog's MCT tumor slightly over a year ago (a tear currently is rolling down my right cheek)!!!!! ..was truly a wonderful morning!! I was even a little nervous to go, in the event there were more lumpis dumpis!!! ? None to be seen, and everything checked out. We are still watching as we do, but what a fantastic day at Spring Glen Vet!!

625 Shepard Ave, HamdenWe love this vet! We switched over here from the VCA and received a tremendous upgrade in service for much less the cost. It's a very small vet, which means they don't have a fancy app or online chat, but this allows them to be familiar with you and your pet on a personal level. The Doctor is extremely well knowledgeable and experienced. She talks fast, but communicates everything! At the VCA they never explained to me what was going on with my pet, but the doctor here answers all my questions and explains all the options. She will always strive for the best option that gives you the best care for your pet at the most affordable option. And the staff is phenomenal! They are extremely kind and work with you if there is any issue. My oldest dog and I have traveled the country together, and I think this is both our favorite vet we've ever been to!

Their drinks such as their fruit slushies (would highly recommend the watermelon slushie!) and boba are also delicious. This is one of our consistent go to restaurants. Would highly recommend and we also see a lot of people doing take out from here!!

We’ve frequented Roishi many times, and every single visit has been consistently excellent. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warm, attentive service and a relaxed, inviting atmosphere that makes it a lovely place to sit, chill, and truly enjoy the experience.
The food? Outstanding across the board. We’ve tried a wide variety of dishes: sushi, ramen, gyoza, crab rangoon, steamed pork buns, miso soup, tempura, and fried rice, and every bite has been absolutely delicious. The sushi is fresh and beautifully prepared, the ramen is rich and comforting, and the appetizers are flavorful and perfectly done. You can really taste the care and quality put into each dish.
