Gary was my best friend for many years, and making decisions about end of life comfort was one of the hardest experiences I’ve ever had. Dr. Mariano guided me through every step with patience, understanding, and genuine kindness.
she didn’t minimize my concerns or rush conversations. She listened to my worries, to Gary’s symptoms, and to what I felt in my heart. She helped me understand what quality of life truly means, and he supported me in making decisions that were loving, not just medical.
Dr. Mariano helped me feel seen and supported, not just as a pet owner, but as someone grieving a family member as she is a pet owner herself. That kind of compassion is rare and I am sure extremely difficult to have as part of the job.

But the reason I'm writing a review is how they treated us and our beloved dog when it was time to put him down recently (obviously a very painful decision). The staff and clinicians helped make it the best possible experience in the worst of circumstances. We so appreciate their kindness, gentleness, and professionalism.

Buddy and I are eternally grateful for their care and expertise. I was a total nervous wreck and worried out of my mind for my beautiful and precious Buddy who had to have hip surgery. Very slowly but surely he has started to heal.

Twelve Percent Beer Project
341 State Street, North HavenI like the concept of Twelve Percent and how they brew beer for some of the smaller companies such as Abomination Brewing, Skygazer Brewing, Fat Cat Orange Brewing, Front Porch Brewing, Evil Twin Brewing. I had the Abomination (Winter Harvester, 6.0% abv) which was maroon colored and the Evil Twin (Blue Raspberry, 6.0% av) which was green colored (surprisingly). I enjoyed the Evil Twin more than the Winter Harvester, although both were good. The patio is the most spacious I have ever seen at a brewery with approximately 20 tables available for seating. Nice open concept brewery with plenty of seating indoors as well.

Angelina brought him out to meet and play with us. She was super helpful and answered all our questions.
Ava handled our application. She was so kind and helpful. She communicated well with us during the whole process.
You can tell the staff and volunteers all care deeply about the animals and they all are well cared for.
