I cannot thank Dr Padilla and his staff enough. My furbaby sustained a fall injury on sat night - resulting in a limp. Our primary vet clinic was closed on the weekends and Dr. Padilla and his group were able to take us in the following Sunday morning to look at our dog. Dr Padilla was professional and compassionate - reassuring us throughout the visit. His entire staff was very kind and welcoming.

My 3yr old cat went in for vaccines. I really appreciated the care of my cat by both the doctor and tech. They were informative, direct with instructions and gave some great advice to my daughter after a little scare she recently had with our cat. She left the visit understanding how to correct behaviors. My cat was well handled throughout the entire time. I appreciate vets like this because there's no gimmicky games. Thank you so much!

I've been wanting to try this place since I saw someone do a food review on Nutella wings. While I'm not feeling that adventurous, I did want to try the PB&J wings. They have a very easy online, ordering process (and they offer coupons) that allows you to customize your food as you desire. So a sandwich was ordered as well as an order of wings. I usually like to do takeout and on Fridays, so this seemed like the perfect option. The sandwich was ready upon my arrival, but the wings took a little bit longer. But a very short wait. They have a few tables and chairs and a vast menu. A very casual spot located within a convenience store that has a gas station as well. A one stop shop! As I waited for my wings to finish, I saw that they also had a nice assortment of desserts. It's the weekend, why not? I saw an Oreo cake slice, a pistachio cake slice that caught my interest, tiramisu and cheesecake. I wound up getting the cheesecake with cherries. The gentleman behind the counter was very nice. He asked me if I preferred blue cheese or another type of dipping sauce for my wings. I accepted the blue cheese, although I had no intention on dipping peanut butter and jelly wings, in blue cheese lol. It also came with a few pieces of celery. The sandwich was standard, I believe the original size is a 12 inch sub, but I ordered the 8 inch sub which reduced the price. They also had an assortment of other types of bread. Salads as well. I'm so glad that I selected the smaller option because after eating five wings, I was getting full (they're a good size). I'm glad that I was feeling adventurous and tried them, but personally, I would not order them again. They weren't bad, they were seasoned very lightly outside of the PB&J. To the point that I had to find something in my fridge to bring a little more flavor. The jelly on them was very light and the peanut butter didn't taste like it was sweetened. That may be a plus for some. I would absolutely order their wings again though- in a different flavor. I can't speak to the cheesecake, it looks pretty good. The few bites that I had of the sandwich were tasty. Very satisfied. It's on the Post Road, inside of a gas station, ample parking. Very accessible. I would love to try one of their salads or possibly even breakfast one day.

Tom & Pat's Pizza

Oh my god!! I just had the best calzone zone I've ever had in my life!! Tom & Pat's is officially my new permanent pizza place!! I don't know what changes they made to their old menu from last year, but this food I got from them is my absolute favorite!! Additionally, their new garlic knots are the most amazing knots I've ever ate. They were so moist, soft, and indescribably awesome I'm at a loss for words! Usually in my house we have to order pizza from 2 different locations b/c my kids can not agree with each other on any food. Tonight we got it from Tom & Pat's & everyone agreed these pizza, calzone, and garlic knots were above & beyond the most delicious food we've ever had from all the pizza places around West Haven. Move over Michael Angelo's b/c Tom & Pat's just made my #1 top pizza spot! I swear I won't be going anywhere else! Plus its across the street from the beach and you can't find a better view than the eating outside at dinner time watching the sun set over the ocean! It's absolutely beautiful!!

Wow! I've been to MANY Chinese restaurants my whole life...for the most part...they were all the same. This place tho...a cut above in every way! Today I had Gen Tso Chicken w/Shrimp Fried rice...egg roll...typical dish...the meat FRESH, THE SHRIMP FRESH AND SUBSTANTIAL, THE VEGGIES CRISP...THE EGG ROLL OMG. Felt like everything was done in house, same day. Wow just frkn WOW. 10 OUTTA 10!
