“I brought my G80 M3 to Darien Detail for PPF and tint. I worked with Justin and he was great. I had a very short timeline to work with and he was able to fit me in and meet the deadline. I am very obsessive about everything that gets done to my car and the work that these guys do is perfect. Nearly every edge is tucked unless it is not possible and the install is nearly invisible. I opted for the drivers package along with the rear bumper and they were very thoughtful about where to put PPF on the car for complete protection. During the very minimal disassembly, one of the clips on the side vent pieces broke. They ordered two new side vent pieces from the local BMW dealership and replaced them for no additional charge to me. Many lesser shops might just reinstall the vent piece with a broken clip and not tell me, but they went above and beyond to leave my car in perfect condition. Darien Detail has won a customer for life.”
“Andres and his partner did an AMAZING job cleaning my car inside and out. With 3 young kids and never having had this done before, my car was a disaster, sand and crumbs everywhere. Once it had been cleaned, my 3 year old got in and asked if I had gotten a new car. I was very impressed with this service. Andres went above and beyond to thoroughly clean my car, communicate throughout the process and despite it taking longer than expected, was able to charge a very reasonable rate for the service. “Went to get a simple car wash from the drive thru car wash to find that it’s been taken over by new owners and is a hand car wash! $25 for exterior (no tip on card). I told the guy I parked under a tree at work and got some weird sap-like substance all over my car and when washing my car he made sure that it was coming off with his power hose and car wash shampoo! Really great service, amazing clean, and you can stay in your car while they wash! Will definitely come back as long as the current people run it.”

“Nelson's work and integrity are five stars and beyond! I brought in a 20-year-old car, in rough shape inside and out and got back a car that looked virtually new. All the seemingly uncleanable surfaces were sparkling, the inside was perfect, and the trunk immaculate.
Beyond that, the front right had been badly scratched and the bumper banged in. For literally 5% of what a body shop would have charged, he banged out the bumper, cleaned up and painted the rust spots and bumper with dealer matched original paint. I couldn't believe the transformation.

At the entrance, there is a large sign detailing all the different services available. I got Full Service option.
The friendly guy gives you a ticket and the go inside and walk up to the front to pay. You can watch your vehicle proceed thru the wash cycle.
After paying, there is a bench outside where you can wait for your car. They also have a full service car clinic next door for oil and other services and repairs.
Good price. Great service.

Ray was one of the few people that could help with our BMW and although it's not a shiny place- I watched him put on booties and take very good care of the car. He is honest, priced fairly, goes above and beyond, fast, and responsive. Close to post and former military. The import place in Alexandria is shiny but when I took it in for another issue, they had our car for over TWO months, left it a wreck, damaged parts of the exterior (for an interior job) - was a nightmare. “First and foremost, this is by far one of my favorite gas station in CT , the cleanliness of this location was outstanding. The forecourt was tidy, the pumps were well-maintained, and the restrooms were noticeably clean and well-stocked – a welcome change from some other gas stations I've visited.
For those looking to spruce up their vehicle, this Shell station is a real asset. They have a generous number of vacuum stations, all of which appeared to be in good working order. This made it quick and easy to clean out my car without having to wait. Additionally, their car wash looked modern and well-maintained, and while I didn't use it on this occasion, the positive reviews I've heard locally make me confident in its quality.
The deli store inside was also a pleasant surprise. It was well-organized and offered a wide variety of fresh-looking snacks, drinks, and even some quick meal options. The staff at the counter were friendly and efficient, making for a quick and pleasant transaction.
Overall, this Shell station stands out for its commitment to cleanliness and best customer experience

I always appreciate visiting the Russell Speeders on Main Avenue in Norwalk, Connecticut, but today the staff really stood out to me. Usually, if someone tries to slip in through the exit to clean their car without a membership, they get turned around—which is completely understandable.
Today, however, a man drove in, but he wasn’t trying to sneak a wash; he was simply looking through the garbage cans to collect bottles and cans. He didn't bother anyone or ask customers for money. Instead of kicking him out like I've seen happen with rule-breakers, the staff looked away and quietly allowed him to do what he needed to do with dignity. It was a kind, empathetic moment that I deeply respect and loved to see.
A quick suggestion for management: It would be wonderful if Russell Speeders could set up a designated recycling bin or drop-off spot for empty plastic bottles and cans. That way, customers could easily separate them instead of throwing them into the main trash, making it much safer and easier for less fortunate individuals to retrieve them without having to dig through the general garbage!
