“Visited the post office around 4pm on a Wednesday. The gentlemen working recognized that we were not super familiar with postage and kindly taped our package (while noting that it did need to be taped), helped us figure out the zip code to an address we were given the incorrect zip code to, and gave us the address of the nearest UPS for a return we needed to make through them. We were very thankful for his patience and assistance.”
“Great and fast service at this USPS location. Both ladies who typically operate the counter are friendly and competent. Rarely more than one other person in line, and good stock of supplies. I ship here regularly.”
“I had to leave a review after visiting this post office today. The way they decorated the office for Breast Cancer Awareness truly deserves recognition—it’s beautiful and so thoughtful. I was left flabbergasted at the effort and creativity they put into it. On top of that, the service was friendly and quick. Make sure to stop by and see their breast cancer theme decorations—they definitely deserve a reward for the work they put in!”
“Decent if you're using the self-service kiosk. There are times when it may be acting up, no physical receipt, trouble with the label scanner, but you can always have the digital copy sent to your email. Great for busy ebay and Amazon sellers.”

“May not have everything a bigger post office has but Berlin is very fortunate to have a total of 3 post offices for such a small town. Gets the job done and for me very convenient”
“I like this post office. It is much better than going to the New Britain post office (in my humble opinion). I am usually able to get in and out of here quickly.
The staff here is always helpful to me.
There are cheaper options for shipping larger items, but as far as the U.S. Postal Service goes, this place is top notch.”

“Went there with my daughter for a passport appointment. Quick, great service, and seamless! I went to the Avon USPS and they canceled my appointment without calling. At this location, their photo services were down but they called me to let me know with plenty of time for me to go to the CVS across the street beforehand. This is definitely my go to USPS from now on!”
“This has been the most pleasant USPS experience of my life. I have been trying to get my fingerprints done for over month now and six visits to various locations in CT and NY later, this office got it done in minutes with incredible service, good humor and kindness. I wish I got the clerks name to thank him personally, but the nice man working on Monday is the best! Seriously thank you so much.”

“The blonde lady with glasses is pretty nice but the other lady makes me a bit uncomfortable. I try to avoid her as much as I can. I wish they would post shifts because yikes it just feels like she hates everyone and makes you walk on eggshells tbh I try to leave there as fast as I can. Even just being in the line is uncomfortable to be honest because it affects the whole atmosphere of the place. She does her work though without issue! It's just that Id rather avoid her shift so I'd appreciate it if you would let us know who will be in when. Either way I hope that lady gets well soon but once again she works just fine.”

“Usually pretty quick in line. Never stood there for a long time. Only had 1 issue a year ago trying to send a package out that was prepaid and it was for up to 5 lbs, it weighed 2 lbs and kept saying it's too heavy...?
Now I do everything online besides a couple things. But staff is usually friendly. Went just the other day and 1 guy was up there and no line! Very friendly older gentleman”
“I’ve had great service here from multiple people. I have even had them call me concerning a package there was an issue with and when it arrived Michael called me. Complaining about the customer service and the delivery service is 2 different things. Some people just want to complain about something.”
“Eric was very helpful and attentive. I didn’t catch the name of the older caucasian woman next to him she had glasses and her hair was graying. She was extremely rude to him and as a customer it made me very uncomfortable. You should not treat people like that, ESPECIALLY in front of customers.”

“This post office is usually very busy. The folks here are friendly and do their best, and are also usually very overwhelmed and understaffed. If I'm in a rush, I go elsewhere.”
“I gave this PO 5 stars a couple years back, and still rate it the same now in March 2026. The staff are always pleasant when I am there, to myself and other customers. sometimes customers get frustrated but this seems to be due to customers not fully understanding the system; or because of an extended wait when this PO is not adequately staffed. Always the staff are working hard and diligently. I would give this PO more stars if I could!”
