“I am a college student that desperately needed a storage unit for the summer and Extra Space Storage delivered!! I had the 5x5 unit which was more than enough to store a dorms-worth amount of bedding, storage totes, and more. Reserving and paying for the unit was easy and smooth. When I was concerned about paying for a month of storage when I played to move out a few days after my bill was paid, Benjamin helped me out with a payment plan that went by day so I wasn’t wasting any money! I truly recommend Extra Space Storage, and especially this location!”

“I had to move my mom out of her apartment because she was very ill. It was a spur of the moment decision to hire a moving company. So I did what we all do - we search on google until we find a place that has good reviews. Bert’s was the first to come up in my search. By reading what other people had said about them it made me reach out and schedule a date. The scheduling was super easy. I gave a list of items and, Idona the scheduler, gave me an estimated cost which came in way under. On moving day the movers that came were prompt and super nice. I had lost my mom the day before so moving her things out of her place wasn’t easy. There was a small entertainment center that I couldn’t bring to my house so I was going to donate it. They put it in my car for me. Once we got to my home they asked me where everything was to go. They set it all up and asked if it was ok and if I was happy the way things looked. They even asked me if I wanted them to move the existing furniture in my home back to the way it was. They were super careful and they didn’t damage one thing. I have used other companies before and I have ended up with busted tv’s, sofas, mirrors etc. Not once did those companies ever refund me any money or even so much an apology. If I ever need to move again I would definitely use Bert’s. I want to thank the men that came out that day personally and I’m so sorry I can’t remember your names. It was an incredibly emotional time for me. You made a really hard day go very smoothly for me and I’m so sorry it was like one of the hottest days of the summer! Thank you again for your kindness and helpfulness.

“Easy online system to rent a storage space. I ordered the space late at night and went to the unit mid-day the next day. The gate code worked, the free lock was in the space, and the unit was clean. There is a $29 application fee, but otherwise the first month is free. Be mindful that they only use full calendar months, so rent on (or close to) the first day of the month. Also watch for deals on “economy” spaces which are discounted for being a little farther from the main gate.”
“Highly recommend!! Rachel is so knowledgeable and friendly and made the renting process so easy…. She also jumped through hoops to find the me a second unit on my move-in day when my movers suddenly said it wouldn’t all fit.
The facility is organized, clean, well-lit.

“After having multiple problems and poor interactions with the Springfield/Union Street office, I moved to using this and the Boston road office. Both are 100% better experiences than the poor quality management and staff at the Springfield/Union Street office. Transactions are consistently smooth and friendly. Staff has actually bathed, sober, customer focused, and extremely professional. Equipment is clean, organized, and functional. Most importantly - NO drama, just good service. I would highly recommend this location (Birnie Ave). Someone should send the Union street to this location for training.”
