“I found this place last October when I was on the hunt for the perfect, good quality, well-made sneakers that would support my plantar fasitis and several ankle sprains in my aspiration to train for my first 5k race, as well as go to Disney World for the first time (hello 25k steps A DAY?!)
While everyone in the store is kind and knowledgable, the first time I went I was met by Ed, who has been in this industry for decades. He took my aspiration seriously and knew I was looking for more 1-on-1 attention to detail, rather than the usual chain store where you're guessing if you're choosing the right shoe FOR YOU.
He spent time with me, never rushed me, and gave me a multitude of options to choose from until I felt 100% about the pair I ended up with - in my case, the Brook Ghost Max 3. I was already a Brooks fan but to say I had used my last pair too long is an understatement. Stepping into these shoes felt AMAZING.
I ended up using them all week at our Disney trip in December, alongside 7 months of running training, and my 5k race in April. I'm still using them to this day and am already prepared to get another pair soon and know just where to go if I'm ever curious about other styles. My husband was in the market for a new, solid pair of sneakers as well, so within a month of my going, he got his fresh sneaks too - ironically enough, the same ones as me. They're just the perfect supportive, everyday sneaker!

“Chris is the owner and he treats his customers like family. It's not unusual for Chris to have 3 or 4 customers sitting around chewing the fat. Chris always asks if you want a cup of coffee. If the answer is yes he will fresh brew you a cup any way you want it. His shop has great prices and is well stocked. If he doesn't have it in stock he will order it. Chris works off a smaller margin than bigger stores because he doesn't have the overhead.”

“While visiting New Haven, I wandered into this store in search of a bow tie during the holiday season. The gentleman, who may have been the owner, helped me sift through a bountiful selection of ties in a basket. He insisted I sample a cookie or two from a wonderful tray baked by his wife. A Frank Sinatra medley played in the background. A phenomenal customer experience and I highly encourage you to wander into Enson's Menswear when you're in New Haven!”

“I needed a new suit for a formal wedding I was attending in a week, and given my Hitchcockesque frame, I am not easy to fit. Mr. Ferrucci had a beautiful suit that fit, and made the needed alterations in time. I received many compliments at the event. I am thankful for high quality men's clothiers, it is so much better to get fitted than to take chances with online orders which in recent years have not worked for me.”
“Great place, knowledgeable staff. I always deal with Bryan and feel like he is a family friend. He always does the best he could do for my business and I really appreciate that. He has great experience with all equipment and there is nothing he hasn’t seen in terms of gym equipment but he doesn’t sit around and boast about what he knows. Instead he lets you ask the questions and he will answer them. Never pushes anything and always has the best answers in terms of pricing for your budget, space, or functionality in terms of business or residential needs. I will only deal with Bryan and total fitness when it comes to equipment!”
“I just brought my house eight months ago. The pool had not been open in over 10 years they came. They opened last year in August, got it up and running however, the liner does need changing it has a lot of stains from all the leaves that were in the bottom, but they did a wonderful job getting it cleaned.
This year I had a minor issue with my filter they came they fixed. It vacuumed my pool. It looks beautiful.
Next year, I will be calling Imperial Pools to install my new liner.

“Worked with Noah on a driver fitting. He quickly found a set up that:
- felt easier to swing
- gave 5mph clubhead speed
- tightened shot pattern with more forgiving launch angle / spin
He also took the time to help walk me through / have me feel the combinations I had in mind when I walked in.

“Stopped in to get my skates baked (for a better fit) and left feeling homesick for my time haunting rinks and a similarly homey shop, long since closed, in my native suburban Pittsburgh. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming, friendly, or knowledgeable, or more hockey (when I told the clerk I was a Penguins fan, he said, “I’m sorry” without missing a beat). They threw in a pair of socks and a free skate sharpening. When it comes time to gear up and shoot the puck, I’ll be back. Strongly recommended.”
