“This is a very nice and friendly Family Dollar. Their products and shelves are all fully stocked. The staff there is wonderful at helping me to find what I was there to purchase. I was absolutely satisfied with my service and was able to find everything easily.”
“Enjoy the variety of the store. Always try to stop there when we are in the area. (We are about three hours away.) Disappointed to see that the clearance room upstairs is much smaller now and mostly only shoes.”

“I’ve been shopping at TJ Maxx for years, and this is honestly the first time I’ve ever felt the need to leave a complaint as an upset customer. Normally, if I have a small issue, I just let it go because it’s not a big deal to me. But this experience was different.
Most of the employees at this location are actually very kind and helpful, which is why this interaction stood out so much. There is one cashier, usually around register #2, with curly blonde hair always nicely styled, who often offers customers the store credit card. I completely understand that offering the card is part of her job, and I respect that. However, customers also have their own personal reasons for saying no, and nobody should feel dismissed or treated differently because they declined.
What frustrated me most was the attitude I received after politely saying no. The energy completely changed, and I felt ignored for the rest of the transaction. On top of that, my items were placed into the paper bags very roughly, almost thrown in, even though some of the items were fragile and could have easily broken.
As someone who has supported TJ Maxx for years, this experience was disappointing. Good customer service should still continue even if a customer declines a credit card offer. A little kindness and professionalism go a long way.”

“I am a recurrent shopper at dover target i’ve had my run in with unpleasant employees but lately it seems that every time i’m in this target i find myself being helped by the sweetest most kindhearted employee named “Jo” she is always there to go out her way and assist me. I have called and spoke to which i hope are higher ups to see if i am able to gift or grant her some recognition for always being so kind and helpful on a day to day basis. I wish for more of this positivity and kind heartedness to be spread upon not just businesses and establishments but the world.”
“Jerome Dr. store needs more vegan items like the HEB in Texas has. The big photo is vegan cheeses available at an HEB in San Antonio, Texas (all those items are vegan options) while the tiny photo is the Walmart on Jerome Drive in Delaware. Update 11/10/2025 - all prices too expensive. Update 02/01/2026 - prices still need to come down.”

“Nice little Talbots store in Dover. I'm amazed at how well stocked they can be. It always a plus to be able to see things in person and try on before buying (especially at these higher end prices). Sales & coupons are helpful for the better quality clothing you get at Talbots. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful. A little gem in the first Capital. May you continue to be successful and stay open for business please. ✨”

“Shopped at the JC Penney at the Dover, DE mall on Tuesday, August 12. Purchased a gold chain. Good selection, reasonable prices. Sheila, our salesperson, was wonderful. Pleasant, professional, helpful, knowledgeable, efficient. Made the transaction easy & hassle-free. Penney's (and Sheila) will be our first choice for buying jewelry.”

“Was on my way to New Jersey Motorsports Park. Truck was already having issues and then my trailer decided to blow a tire. Didn't bring spares with me and forgot my trailer keys at the house...5hrs away. Called this store and want to give a huge shout out and thanks to Hannah for answering the phone and getting a wheel with tire, bolt cutters, and a set of padlocks set aside for me by time I arrived. She took off an incredible amount of stress from an already long and crazy Friday, and that help got me to the track and back home.”
