Steamers
434 2nd St, Cedar KeyWe went to their 2nd St location since the Dock St. is closed. We went late enough so it wasn't crowded. Our server, Lisa, did a great job! The food was delicious. I had Fish and Chips. The batter was very light so it complimented the fish; too often batter on fish takes away from it. My wife had the shrimp tacos which she really enjoyed. She asked that they lightly grill the tortillas and those were done just right! I'm looking forward to going back.

The Tipsy Cow Bar & Grill
At The Top OF the Stairs, 360 Dock St, Cedar KeyThis is just currently the last restaurant still standing right on the water in Cedar Key. The dining room is pretty small, but there's a good-sized patio overlooking the water and it's not uncommon to see dolphins out there.
I had the fried grouper dinner and it was delicious, with excellent mashed potatoes on the side. We also got the shrimp sliders and those were great.
They claim to have fantastic burgers, and they definitely smelled great.
The atmosphere is funky and fun and our server was great.
The only downside was that, as the only restaurant on the water, they were busy and out of a LOT of menu items -- but they also had enough left to keep it interesting.
