“I loved my stay at Best western plus at Hollywood/Aventura. I am amazed by the hospitality provided by the entire staff. They were very kind and went extra step to ensure we had wonderful experience. I quality of soaps was very good. lol. I liked it a lot. The beach was 5-10 mins Uber ride.”

“Some consider it the best hotel in America. I can safely tell you it’s not even the best in Florida. ?
The FS in Palm Beach & Orlando are legit 5-star properties, but this one was a let down, and for $1,700/night. Yes.
If you go, go in high season, because in the summer it’s quite clear, they’re not very interested in you. It’s not a world class experience in low season.

We had cold interactions with the gentleman on their side entrance off Collins (not main entrance). He continually disagreed with everything I said. It was really weird.
No open doors to vehicle or hotel entry.
He shouldn’t be interacting with guests. Just a strange guy.

Front desk agent was not warm and genuine in anything. She acted like the assistant to a successful personal injury attorney, and looked like one too. Didn’t smile at all.
Great breakfast. Best orange juice I’ve ever had. Waiter was from Italy. Good guy, but his service style is very European, so you hardly ever see him, which was strange. But a real good guy.

Hotel was quiet in late July.
Pool layout is very strange. Kids pool was actually colder than adult pool. No hot tubs.

Bottom of doors rusted out, hallways dark and drab.
Saw pool and beach employees giving each other back rubs, consistently scrolling on their phones, standing around doing nothing.
Saw bartenders at Winston’s laughing loudly watching social media videos behind the bar.
Food was very good, as expected.
Decor in hotel is amazing and the sense of place is great. Room (ocean view studio - 700 sq feet) was beautiful and comfortable, but way overpriced for the summer) I actually paid to upgrade so paid like $2,200 for it.
Definitely not worth it. Is FS pricing you out? Yes, probably.
Called once for valet but they forgot to tell the valet.
Front door guys were all good though and friendly.
Waited 20 minutes for vehicle though at 6:30am checkout the next day, which seemed long.
***kayla at the pool was fantastic. She engaged with our kids and went out of her way to bring pool toys and even make a peanut butter jelly with the jam from the employee dining room
Because our kids would like it better***
Everyone else was forgettable.

It was a solid 4 star exp at 5 star/2 Michelin key prices.
If you have kids, don’t come here, go to 1 Hotel, Fontainebleau, or maybe stay north (where it’s still America) and go to FS Palm Beach or The Breakers.
FS Surfside is ideal for a romantic getaway, but for these prices, just go to the Bahamas or Turks & Caicos and get better beaches and more relaxation.

“Kenyans knew I was having a bad day when I walked up ready for my check in (I as requested an early check). She got me upgraded to a room since my regular wasn’t ready and handled everything for me and it’s been a long time since a front desk was that pleasant to me. She made me like I had arrived at the right place and she was going to make my day better than it started”

“During spring break, Hotels in Hollywood,Florida that have vacancies are hard to find. I felt fortunate to find a motel with a AAA rating that was minutes from the Hollywood beach and booked it. As I pulled up to the Shell Motel after a 4 hour drive, I was elated to see I had made a good choice. It was located close to the airport, golf, casinos, horse and dog tracts and walking distant to restaurants and nearby shopping. One of the managers Pierre, took my luggage and me to point out the heated pool and room amenities. I have stayed in major hotels that were not as spotless as these accommodations. I can see why they have received so many 5 star reviews. This will be my choice on my next trip to Hollywood, Fl.”

“Company had an event nearby for a few days and used this location. No complaints. Parking, restaurant, rooms all was well. The front desk guy on the morning of our checkout was not the friendliest but I won’t hold it against him.”

“Rooms were decent and clean. Clean being the most important. We evacuated from the west coast of Florida during Milton and stayed a few days. It is also pet friendly, which is a huge plus during bad weather.”

“This is hands down our favorite hotel in FLL area. The rooms were spotless, and the room service was exceptional. We also loved starting our mornings at the Constellation Café. The breakfast there was fantastic.

The staff went above and beyond by giving us waters upon arrival and holding our luggage when our room wasn’t ready, which made our stay even more convenient. This will definitely be our go-to hotel whenever we’re in the Fort Lauderdale area.

They do offer transportation to the cruise terminal if you sign up in advance, but we opted for a Lyft, which was about $20 for an XL. Highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, service, and convenience!”

“My wife and I stayed at the Sea Beach Plaza Hotel to celebrate my birthday and truly had a wonderful stay! The owners were so kind and helpful throughout our trip. The room was super clean, quiet, and comfortable. There were little details they did so well, from the free beach chair/umbrella rentals, to the daily coffee lounge! The pool was nice and clean. The location is phenomenal! Only a 3 minute walk to the beach across the street, and a 5 minute walk to the water taxi! Highly recommended! Only an 8 minute walk to the south end of Las Olas Boulevard where there is great restaurants and shopping! and there is a bus stop literally a minute walk from the hotel. If you have a bathroom with a window, I recommend cracking it and listening to the serene natural sounds. Great water pressure, comfortable bed. Very safe area. We walked everywhere to save money. They do a great job with the little things here. Great stay!Nearby activities: Beach, water taxi, Las OlasSafety: Safe area, no issues even at night”

“Absolutely amazing! Wonderful experience at the Solé, starting with Ross, the manager, who went above and beyond to make the experience at the resort even better. The valet staff and front office were on point, professional, and exceptional.”

“Hotel is right off 95. Well maintained and very clean. The staff are great. We evacuated here from hurricane Milton and we were pleasantly surprised. There’s some fast food places and a grocery store near by.

Rooms: The rooms are spotless and the beds are comfortable. It’s a good size mini fridge with a freezer and microwave. Would definitely stay here again.
There’s a great pool and a cute courtyard with animal statues. My granddaughters loved it. The staff are all pleasant and very helpful.

Food and drinks: Restaurant right on the premises. A continental breakfast provided with decent coffee and a nice variety of food.”

“I’ve been visiting this place for over 10 years and it’s always been a favorite for me, my family, and friends. The live music and food are fantastic, and most of the staff are friendly and welcoming. However, there’s one employee—the guy who’s always walking around closing the place and moving boxes from side to side—who is consistently rude to customers. It’s disappointing because it takes away from the great atmosphere. I would have given 5 stars, but I’m giving 4 because of this issue. I hope management addresses it to keep the positive vibe we all love without canceling anyone.”

“Well located, right near the beach within a 2-minute walk, also offering less crowded and quite space. Spacious rooms, well-ventilated with ample natural light. It has an ice vending machine which is free and a soda vending machine. Good free breakfast with amazing hospitality from the guy who takes care of the food and cleanliness of the tables. I stayed here right after my cruise trip, and they do offer early check-in around 8 am for a small amount like $50. I wouldn't expect more than this for what I have paid. Not to forget the free coffee (24*7)”

“Stayed here with my family for 2 nights , everything was great during the stay. 1Br where we had stayed was clean and big enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. The weather was not very hot, but the pool was heated so we appreciated that and could swim without any problems. Stuff was very friendly and helpful. Thanks guys for hospitality !”

“Hotel service was excellent. The staff D'vontae, Kendra and Brittany were very helpful in accommodating us. They were very professional. The breakfast staff was very helpful. Breakfast was a full course breakfast which was really nice because other hotels don't offer that service. The rooms were large and very clean and updated. Definitely will make reservations there again.

“Renovated, comfortable, clean and secure room with a digital code at the door.
The exterior is pretty with colors and paintings, however there is a lack of cleaning of the tables, chairs and sofas... which unfortunately prevents us from fully enjoying this beautiful space.”

“Quaint little room, living room, kitchen and full bathroom. The decor was cute and fitting for the location. It was a little cramped but we also had three people there so we brought that on ourselves ?. The only reason I gave four stars on the room category is because there was hair on the mattress when we pulled down the comforter. The soap dispenser in the shower is a great feature, but I recommend unclogging them! Other than that, it was a great stay.”

and truly nice and this hotel tops it. I did read a review mentioning firm pillows, however, our pills were not. The bed was far out comfortable and the tv was great with Channels!”

“Mostly everything about this Hotel is really good, the Front desk are so polite and helpful, the doorman, bell hop, pool attendants are great, our room was excellent, the bed and pillows so comfortable. Now for the bad news, their valet parking I read the reviews about them prior to arrival which made me leary of them, on arrival I told the valet I know about your reviews for smashing up cars, I gave the attendant 10 bucks and said take good care of my car I give him my key and he just runs off somewhere, I contact his manager, he tracks down the attendant. Now we go around the car do video and I tell the guy dont let anything happen to this car or I wont be happy, the attendant and onsite manager reassure me my car will be fine, I give the attendant another 5 bucks and make it clear again to take good care of my car, he says he will. Well low and behold when they return my car to me i can see underneath the car as it pulls up the driveway, I can see one of the underbody shields is hanging down and two of them look like they've encountered some sort of impact. the onsite manager from the day prior was there he goes under my car and pushes it back up but I can see they dont look perfect factory flush now. we have a discussion about it and I want him to document this, he mentions how I didnt video under the car but agrees with me that who in the heck should need to do that, as in me being someone who spent a good deal of time around the autobody business I know when you damage these things the clips can break off and they fall again, we go back and fourth about it, he says its fixed now, I say if it falls later whos gonna pay for that. he didn't document the incident but gave me his bosses card. Well hear me now, this shouldn't have happened period, bottoming out my car some how, its never happen before and shouldn't happen while in your possession. Causing me lots of aggravation after a pleasant stay, they've got me crawling around my car. its really screwed up that they have butchers handling my ride, My advice to you, don't be shy about coming down on these people and make them get there act together, do video, take pictures make them do a walk around and possibly even video under your car if you give a hoot about your car.”

“I’m telling you upfront, don’t raise the prices. But this is by far the best price/benefit hotel in the area. I stayed for a week. They have coffee-tea 24 hours. Breakfast was pretty good compared to other hotels in same price range. They should put more chairs to the pool area. And more equipment to the gym. Will be back for sure.”

“I did not stay here, but I went to their restaurant and got the mojo chicken dish with jasmine rice and it was amazing. I loved the mojo onions and the chicken was cooked just right!”
