Breeze Ocean Kitchen
100 South Ocean Boulevard, ManalapanWe are currently staying at Eau Palm Beach Resort for our vacation and chose Breeze Ocean Kitchen to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. Unfortunately, the experience fell well below the standards we expected from a luxury resort.
The pizza was clearly burnt (see photo). Our server insisted this was intentional and even suggested it was due to the dough fermentation process, but this was obviously not authentic Neapolitan pizza, it was simply burnt. While other staff members were friendly, our server’s dismissive attitude made the situation worse.
It’s disappointing that a special birthday celebration was affected by poor food quality and the way our concern was handled. We expected much better from a resort of this caliber.
Update: After I posted my review, the restaurant’s management called me personally to discuss our experience. They listened carefully to our concerns, sincerely apologized, and invited us back for dinner the following evening. Unfortunately, we were checking out the next morning, so we couldn’t accept their invitation.
Their genuine concern and personal follow up made a lasting impression. While our original dinner fell short of expectations, the way they handled the situation afterward demonstrated a true commitment to guest satisfaction. Because of the professionalism and care they showed in making things right, I’m updating my review to 5 stars. I only wish we had been able to take them up on their invitation before leaving.

Art Basil Restaurant
218 S Ocean Blvd, ManalapanIts been a couple of l months since the last time I'd been to Art Basil. Though I've had dinner multiple times in the past 3 years, and whenever I'm in town I make sure that I go there a couple of times a week. The chef is Phenomenal, everything I've tried (whether the daily specials, or some of the menu staples are Exquisitely prepared, and the portions are more than substantial. There's a very artsy atmosphere, displaying some of Heddy's (pardon me if I misspelled your name) the owner's wonderful talents.
The service is Excellent with Raven, and Ashley (forgive me for not remembering the names of others) providing Friendly, Attentive and Exceptional service. Thank you Hedy and Art Basil for a great dinner experience.
