But, it can be a little pricey, and the service is pretty slow. I feel that the restaurant, as well as Brandon’s and the bar (where you can also order your sushi), is all understaffed. When we arrived at the bar at 3:30 there was one lady working behind the bar, and she was also running to the restaurant (Brandon’s) to wait on people! So it’s difficult to give people much attention when you’re stretched so thin.We came back after 7 to have dinner. They don’t open until 5pm.I ordered the shrimp “handy”. It’s tempura shrimp wrapped in white rice paper, with rice and avocado. It was delicious!!! I was going to share with my hubby but it was so good! Sorry honey!My husband had the miso soup. It had A LOT of green onions in it. I like that, but he didn’t.Then we shared the sashimi platter. It’s 20 pieces of sashimi with a roll (wrapped in thinly sliced cucumber). It was the perfect amount for 2 people to share. We were both full afterwards. Every piece was perfect. It had 4 pieces of tuna, 4 of salmon, yellowtail, and wahoo.I had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, my husband had a Moscow mule. They were both excellent. Then we had the salted caramel gelato for dessert.A 20% gratuity is automatically included. Our bill was $180 altogether.

It gets busy, but the team works like a well oiled machine and cranks out drinks quick. You may have to wait in line during the busy periods but it’s the best choice in the area, it’s worth it.

314 S County Rd, Palm BeachSurfside Diner is exactly what a neighborhood diner should be! The place is clean, the location is great, and the service is outstanding. It was fun watching the staff greet everyone who walked in. Most of the customers seemed to be regulars, and it was impressive to see the staff remember their usual orders and have them served before they even had to ask.
What really stood out was how efficiently they kept everything spotless. As soon as a guest left, the table was being cleaned before the door could even close, making it ready for the next customer in no time. That level of attention and care says a lot. Friendly atmosphere, exceptional service, and definitely a place worth coming back to!

Pizza Al Fresco
14 Via Mizner, Palm BeachMy friend recommended this place while we were staying at the Breakers. I am so glad we listened to her! Wow, the service was impeccable (better than the breakers I might add). The food was phenomenal!!! I had the homemade pappardelle and holy cow, I want more! I totally recommend this special spot to anyone in the area who loves real Italian food, great service and a beautiful setting.
