“If you shop at trader Joe's you start to develop favorites. Things that they carry that are proprietary to them or that just seem better than what you might pick up at a regular grocery store. For example, they have some very fine cheeses that you don't see elsewhere. They carry a brand of mineral water that I am very fond of and almost no one else carries it. Employees are helpful and their registers are always manned adequately. They always carry flowers and especially there is a great selection around Valentine's Day.”
“I bought basmati rice from a grocer it was ok, I bought basmati rice here and there was a significant difference, in fact it tasted so Mediterranean I could not believe that I ever bought regular basmati rice from the grocery store. They also have a take out to go or eat in, I bought their fresh homemade Turkish tabbouleh it was out of this world. Going back tomorrow for more. A great international cuisine grocery and restaurant.”
“Absolutely love this butcher shop!!! There's not a single item we've ever had that we didn't love! The Argentine steak tips and pork chops are amazing, and our absolute favorite. Recently, we had the slightest misunderstanding, and before I had a chance to realize that we had bought someone else's order, they had called and texted me to let me know they wanted to make it right.
They were our favorite before this happened, and the honest way they approached this is exactly why we will continue to love them! You don't get the quality, selection, and service like this from a big box store. Support local business, like this one and there's no possibility of disappointment.

“Detweilers has the best produce, seafood, bakery goods, ice cream, meats, and cheeses. Packaged food items, custom sandwiches, salads, and sushi. Not all products are reasonable, as with any store, but you have lots of choices for many specialty items. It's a fun perusal when shopping for your weekly vittles, plus the samples are better than Costco!”

“I love this market so much! I can’t say enough about it. They have so many options including gluten-free, organic, non-gmo and many higher quality Asian food and health food. I use their purple sweet potato powder and white sweet potato powder for a flour alternative in baking and absolutely love it! I like how they work with local farms and other businesses so I know I’m getting good quality ingredients. They have high quality rice and they make their own kimchi and sauces which puts my mind at ease because most bottles of sauces go through so much transportation before ever getting to the store. I also take their immunitea blend with the black turmeric and haven’t had to take Advil for my headaches anymore. Their persimmon leaf tea too and turmeric tea are so so good and give me the energy I need throughout the day. Coming here I feel taken cared of. Thank you! ?”
“I'm a former crew member... I worked at the big cat habitat. They're in Sarasota ...and enjoyed shopping for some of the finest meats and some of the most marvelous produce fruits and to talk about the bakery. Well that's just another story and as it was so convenient for many of the on-premise and residence at the big cat habitat, equality, insurance and the friendly atmosphere and employees makes it a five-star and beyond place to be doing your shopping. It was very convenient and I'm sorry to say that I had to leave the big cat habitat, but I know Kay rosier and so many of the other wonderful people there the big cat Habitat shop there at. Thank you for your business and may it always expand and may always be what people need. Thank you very much. If I return, I will certainly be buying all groceries there. Absolutely, I promise. “This store is one of the best Publix I have ever experienced. But a manager named Sarah completely lacks the social skills and respect for the Publix Organization. Almost all of the associates properly greet customers. But this manager is a failure at reflecting the Publix policy of acknowledging and greeting customers. She is not qualified nor does she has personal skills required to manage coworkers if she fails to perform the basic duty of making shopping at Publix an enjoyable experience. “DetWiler Farms is one of the funnest grocery stores ever. It is tradition with my family to go to DetWiler's Saturday evening just before closing for Yoder's ice cream cones and some 2 for one fresh baked goods. The deli sandwiches are great. The produce and fruit are second to none. The extensive selection of organic jellies and candies and hard to find sodas are fun. How many other grocery stores are a destination itself?”

“I absolutely love Publix. The food is always fresh, and everything tastes so good. Everything! Even the non- perishable items taste better than other grocery stores. This was my first time shopping at a publix while on vacation, because there aren't any where I live. At first I was a little surprised at how much more expensive the food is here, but after eating the food, I quickly realized why the prices are a little more than most places...bc it really is so much better! I really wish they would expand to other areas beyond the south/ eastern areas. Or at least in my city!”
“I was shopping earlier today (12/15/2025) and had no many other than my card that was not working for all of my items.
The manager was called over to assist.
The manager, Matt, took the time to rescan all of my items, helping me discover what the issue was with my card so that I could purchase my food. I was embarrassed, but Matt made sure that I felt that I really mattered. Great customer service!”

“Middle of the road Hungarian cuisine. We sampled the tripe stew, chicken paprikash, and chicken soup.
Having eaten in Hungary on numerous occasions, we found the food bland. Perhaps it is made to cater to the American taste. The tripe was well prepared, as this is something difficult to cook properly. All in all, it was a good meal, but the passion in preparation was lacking.”

“Stopped in for some charcuterie fixings and Dave in the hot food section helped me and my friend. He was so polite, friendly and funny. When I inquired about the Publix famous chicken finger subs he was very informative. We had already filled our cart so we declined ordering a sub. He went out of his way to find us and offer a sample. The chicken with his mix of hot honey and siracha sauce was AMAZING!
Hold on to this wonderful employee! You dont get customer service like that anymore!”

“I can't say enough good things about my local Publix grocery store! I find myself there almost every other day, and it’s truly become a second home for me. The convenience of its location is just the start; what makes this place special are the incredible people who work there.
I’ve gotten to know many of the staff members, and it’s heartwarming to see that most of them are from the neighborhood. They bring a sense of community to the store, and their friendliness makes every shopping trip enjoyable. Just today, I had a touching interaction with Emily, one of the cashiers I've come to admire. She was having a tough day due to an unpleasant encounter with a customer who was unreasonably aggressive. It was clear that it affected her, and I felt compelled to offer some encouragement.
I reminded her that she is a valuable part of the team and that her smile brightens the day for many of us. It was lovely to see her appreciate the support. We shared a hug, and it felt good to lift her spirits, even if just a little.
This experience served as a powerful reminder of the importance of kindness and understanding. We never know what someone else is going through, and it’s crucial to treat each other with grace.

“I've been coming to Publix for a long time now, so I know where everything is at. They have always had ample fresh fruit and vegetables. The people who work there have always been helpful and friendly, and they've helped me find .Prices here are very competitive. The parking lot at the local grocery store is quite spacious and conveniently located. There are plenty of designated handicap spaces available, and the overall cleanliness of the store is indeed excellent. The restrooms are consistently well-maintained and kept very clean.”

“I arrived at the place because they recommended the sancocho there. A Latin dish that in my country (Cuba) is known as CALDOSA And I fell in love with that Colombian flavor and style that I found in that broth. The Colombian meat empanadas were fried for me at the moment. Very good service from the young employee who attended to me from the moment I walked through the door. A small but cozy place with an ethnic Colombian theme. I recommend it.And I'll be back”
