“I purchased an incredible leather briefcase several months ago. To start, the complements I received were endless and many friends asked where I purchased it. After a couple of months, the strap clasp broke. When returned to the store, the owner was extremely helpful and offered to have it fixed. The entire experience was awesome from beginning to end. “First off I was greeted upon entering store with a warm smile that was genuine. The owner immediately let me know if there was anything she could help me with, to let her know. I informed her it was my first time there and she took the time to then let me know how her discount store worked. We ended up having great conversation along with finding very low prices lower prices than Aldi's or save a lot could ever dream of. I live in Bradenton but will definitely be driving to Sarasota to continue to go to the store. Dry goods to snacks pasta drinks some things in the refrigerator like milk and eggs and I believe cheese bacon along with hygiene items miscellaneous and even some clothing definitely a gem of a store and I cannot wait to go back”
“Pinecraft shoes is now the only place I will get my work boots from. Went in yesterday to have my current work boots fixed and he stopped what he was doing to see if it was something he could do and within 10 minutes I was walking back out with my work boots fixed. I feel terrible for not remembering their names but the man and woman who were there were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to get me taken care of. I would suggest everyone give them a try when looking for boots, shoe repair, clothing and leather goods.”

From the moment of her friendly greeting when I came in to the very end of my happy purchase, she showed she was knowledgeable, understanding & patient, and offered options. I needed both house shoes and office work shoes and after trying on about 10 pairs of work-type shoes that didn't work perfectly for my particular feet issues (supination = lateral side pain to name one issue) she went the extra mile while showing no impatience or frustration. “Went in with my boyfriend to find him some shoes right after a couple days after Christmas. As we walked through the mall, most store associates were totally drained from the holidays but Bri really took her time in helping us find a pair of shoes. Unfortunately, the shoes we originally wanted were out of stock in-store and online; however, Bri really took her time and went above and beyond to help us find the next perfect shoe. She was eager to help, offered good opinions, and was a light in the dark abyss that is post-Christmas shopping. Someone give this lady a raise!”

“I stopped by to purchase some scrubs for work as it was my first time needing any. As soon as I walked in Carla greeted me and immediately began picking out all different sizes for me to try on. She let me take my time to change and brought me different sizing and brands while still taking care of everyone else who came into the store. They carry a large variety of fits and styles from small to plus size. Once I chose everything, Brad carefully bagged all of my items and they sent me on my way with a handful of chocolates. This is the Chanel of Scrubs. Everyone should be shopping here and Carla deserves a generous raise.”

“Let me start by saying that journeys is not a store that comes to the top of my mind when I’m shoe shopping. Today, however I was on a mission to find a pair of double strap sandals for a trip I am going on next month. I knew that different brands made these including Birkenstock. I wasn’t having luck at other stores and I decided to walk into this store. I was immediately greeted by this young lady who said welcome in. A few short moments later, she came right up to me and asked if there was anything she could help me with. I told her what I was looking for, and she immediately took me over to the men’s section. It was there she showed me a beautiful selection in many different colors I might add of exactly what I was looking for! She asked what size shoe I wore and recommended going down in size since this particular Birkenstock only came in full sizes. When she brought them out, she was absolutely correct! I definitely needed to go down to a 9 and not go up to a 10. She even brought out a second pair in a different size just in case. She was right on point. They fit perfectly. It took me a few minutes to make the decision to go ahead and buy them because this is not a style of sandal I would usually purchase, however they looked great on. She explained that they would start off hard, and as I wore them, they would soften up and mold to my feet. I was sold! I took them and I am very pleased with my purchase. I am excited to wear these on my trip! I was very impressed with this young lady, she exceeded my expectations!”

“I visited this store 3x already, the first time they didn’t have my size so they took down my information and called me when the shoes I wanted came in. Sadly I didn’t tell them the correct size and realized when I got home my new Birkenstocks were a bit too small. I thought the 38 was a size 8, it’s not it’s really a size 7-7.5, so I needed the 39. The staff said they can properly size my foot, and I did indeed need the 39. I have a narrow foot so I went for the Arizona soft bed, narrow, in suede. They added a few extra holes since my foot is really narrow and told me to come back if I ever needed extra holes after they break in. While I was there I saw the Birkenstock Madrid and decided to get those too since they’re less casual and look a little bit more dressy so I can wear them to work. They did have 10% off sale going on which was a pleasant surprise. I will continue to stop in and shop at this gem of a store because nothing beats the customer experience at a local small business!Here’s a pic of the shoes I bought… I do have 2 of each. :-)”
