“Natalia was amazing! This was my first time doing a gait test and buying shoes specifically for running as a new runner. Natalia was warm, friendly, and knowledgable. She explained what she saw in the scanner and the video footage and how I would benefit from specific shoes and insoles. I did not feel like I was being pressured to buy a specific shoe, or more expensive shoes.
Overrall it was an incredible shopping experience and it made me excited to keep on my beginner runner journey.

Shoe Carnival is the best. I ordered 2 or 3 days before the holiday. I picked up the bag at the Kennesaw location, I arrived 2 minutes before they closed. Still good customer service. Also the shoes had to be shipped. The shoes was delivered on time! Keep up the great work Shoe Carnival!”
“I visited Vans in search of shoes. Cale was a great help. He explained about the variety of shoes and helped me pick out a pair. There was a Buy One Get One half off sale, so he helped me pick out another pair. Customer service is rare these days. Cale is exceptional!”
“Staff was pretty knowledgeable. If you're looking for smaller sizes, no problem. I wear a size 11 and my husband size 13, those are normally not in stock. The staff are quick to let you know that it can be ordered online and shipped to your house for the same price that the store is selling it for. Which is great, but you no have to wait 4 to 5 days to get them.”

“I love this store and have shopped here for years. Have met the owners (Johnny & Sarah) while looking for something they didn’t sell anymore and they knew so much that I took the suggested replacement and it works wonderfully well!
Most of the time, the other employees know all the answers I need, and it’s a rare occasion the ladies do not. But even when they don’t, they try to figure it out or get you to another employee or one of the owners or somewhere else that can. If they don’t know it, it seems like they try to learn for next time. So even when an employee doesn’t know, that effort makes me feel like they want to truly help and value my business. This time the service here helped me feel better after a terrible visit somewhere else I’ve gone to for years.
I think when I first came in years ago, I appreciated being greeted, but wondered if I was being watched; it became clear they weren’t looking at me as a potential thief, but rather trying to see if I looked like I was trying to find something, so they would always catch that and ask if they could help. Now I am often greeted like an old friend unless someone new is working, and that’s okay, because they are learning the store and customers themselves. When I bring a family member’s child in, they find a way to see if I am okay with them offering the child one of those Zollipops (better for your teeth). So now my family members want to come with me, too!
Some beauty supplies don’t accept any exchanges, and this one has a reasonable policy of store credit. So if - for example - you buy too much braiding hair you can return it if unopened with a receipt. I’m okay with the prices because I am supporting a “mom & pop” in my local community instead of giving Amazon more money.
The only 2 things I don’t love are: 1) the new-ish professionally licensed stylist discount policy change a few years back. I’m not a professional stylist, but I have a friend who is a licensed barber and sometimes he only needs to grab a Tintation spray and the discount would help, but it doesn’t meet the $40+ policy. And 2) a small set of pictures on the wall for people who decided to steal. I shopped here for years, there were no pictures like that until this last year. At the same time, this is a small business and it’s a shame people try to take from here because good people own this store *and* now I have to see these pics up in an otherwise nice store. It just brings the atmosphere down a little bit. So while I don’t love these pictures, there are only a few and it’s the owners’ store to run as they like. I felt I should mention these dislikes, but still give this beauty supply 5-stars due to the service.”
“This DSW store is relatively bigger than in other places. An extensive collection of different brand shoes has made it easy for shoppers to select shoes as per their taste.”

Every time I come in the store, I am greeted with beautiful warm smiles. Everyone makes me feel welcome and if I have any questions they really help me. I lost something that was extremely valuable and important. I am grateful that Trinity found it. I was able to retrieve it the next day. I would definitely recommend this location.”

“I came in to get my husband a pair of shoes for his birthday. The staff seemed to have their hands full with all the other customers that were in the store as well. There was this lady who was giving the managers a hard time as it seemed like she was very frustrated about her shoes. The one manager Yanice handled the situation very professionally and didn’t raise her voice or get visibly upset when this lady was yelling in her face. She called customer service and I’m assuming told them what was going on, and after she hung up let the lady know that she was getting a replacement shoe. The whole time while she was getting screamed at by this customer with a horrible attitude she had a very understanding attitude and was very helpful. After the customer left and it was my turn to check out out, she said “thank you so much for your patience. I really appreciate it” with a smile and it made me believe that not all retail workers have a chip on their shoulder!!”
