“I have gone with this man three times because of some electrical issues I have been having on my old truck. Its a 1988 GMC C/K 1500 and he has totally left me dumfounded by his work and experience. They work on lifted trucks so is a plus! not like the other place (cough cough tire discounters) where I originally went to get tires, not only did they not do their famous “free alignment” they didn’t balance the tires as well. My steering was shaking going 60-70 mph after getting my tires with them Thursday afternoon. Global tires got my truck driving smooth again.”

I had the car towed to the dealership, where I was told that I needed to file a claim with my insurance company and that it was going to be very expensive and time consuming to fix the issue. I have been looking for a trustworthy repair shop for the past 5 years that is fairly priced, 2 stands behind their work, 3 is honest in what's actually needed. I had one but ownership changed and so the search started over. Glad I was referred to Anthony.Anthony checks the boxes on all three. My vehicle went in for rear shocks, front struts, both CV axles, water pump, and tune up (ignition coils, spark plugs, gasket), alignment.Anthony quoted me a fair price, used OEM parts, and provides a 1 year warranty. His place was very busy, I did make an appointment and dropped off. The repairs did take longer than expected, but that was ok, I was able to make arrangements. Delay was due to rusted bolts, taking longer to get off.I was impressed that I received a text with a PDF that outlined the work (labor & parts) and could sign the work agreement. No extra charges. He also checked out the vehicle for any other repairs and re-clipped my door.Overall I found my new repair shop. If you're looking for a repair shop you should definitely consider Carreno. “Had to get 2 tires changed over onto rims that had flat tires. We were greeted with a smile and hello as the door was held open for us. Gave us a great price since they were off the vehicle. Had a new guy and when he needed some help, a seasoned employee came over to ensure that everything was done right. Was taken in quickly even though it was close to closing time.I would recommend them from the brief encounter and what I observed watching everyone work on different things. “I first became acquainted with Jonathan around 20 years ago on the 560SEC forums. Whenever someone had a question nobody could answer, the consensus was “ask Jonathan, he will know”. He always did. I recently bought a 2009 CL600 only from photos and had it sent straight to Jonathan from the MB dealer to perform a complete inspection and make all needed repairs. I knew a car like this needed somebody who would critically evaluate it from bumper to bumper so when l received the car it would be trouble free. Over the next 6 weeks he identified all issues, even those due to poor workmanship from previous mechanics, and sent me photos so l could see for myself everything he saw. Needed repairs were extensive as the previous owners left a lot for the next owner (lucky me to inherit all of them) and Jonathan kept me informed throughout the entire process.
