I tried numerous stores in Kona & in Hilo too - none had the stock of ukes that Irene does at Agasa. I found exactly what I needed, and at a good price. The store has a friendly vibe too, and Irene is knowledgeable about her Ukuleles.”

This store is a lovely mix of affordable local arts (jewelry, ceramics, fabric art, etc) and high end furniture designs from one of a kind woods obtained through local arborists. The owner/designer Jonathan is wonderful to chat with; so worth stopping in to wander the display rooms and be amazed in every one.”

“This is definitely the best antique store in hilo. There is so much quality and original amazing finds here that you just can’t find the same thing online like other stores in Hilo. I came in today looking for some vintage rattan furniture. The guy that helped me was extremely helpful and I also found many other beautiful and original pieces I might try and come back for another day. The store is packed full of quality items that will definitely hold their value and make the decor in your home look custom and unique. I really really love the great customer service and the excellent items you find there.”

“I ordered the custom pyrography platter from this wonderful business. I have long since admired similar works often found in hotels and store since I was a teen. I have been to the islands many times and owning such a work has long been a dream of mine. What can I say the platter is absolutely stunning and much loved. It also arrived carefully packaged so as not to cause any damage. I would recommend this business to anyone seeking out a lovely piece of art whether from home or visiting the islands. I was not on the right island when last I visited, but next time I am I look forward to visiting in person.”
