“Great experience. My wife and I were met immediately by a salesman name Joe Toledo. He asked us if we sere looking for something particular and we told him dressers. He pointed to us in the right direction and we browsed around the store. He didn’t follow us around which I like, so no pressure. Store was clean and merchandise was very attractive. He found us several minutes later and showed another area where we found the dresser and a comfortable living room chair we purchased. We took the chair home with us. Joe helped me load it in my truck with protection around it. Great Job Joe!!!! I would recommend your store to anyone.”

“The previous reviews are quite old so let me bring them up-to-date. This gem of a store is fantastic for high quality wood furniture at a reasonable price. We bought all new outdoor furniture here made of solid wood. They have a large sister store in Hilo for broader selection - but this is the best value/selection in industrial Kona on this side of island. The delightful store manager (Donna) took care of us and everything was easy. Highly recommend.”
“In the summer of 2022 we purchased a condo in Kailua Kona, and needed to furnish it. I wanted furniture with a traditional Hawaiian look and feel, and after searching several stores with new and used furniture, I happened upon Gray’s Furniture. The used furniture was primarily Hawaiian in style and had been beautifully cleaned, reupholstered, polished and/or repaired. What a selection! I was astounded at the quality and beauty of their furniture. I negotiated a good deal for several pieces, paid cash, and they provided free delivery. I bought living room and dining room furniture, as well as a chest of drawers for one of the bedrooms. To be sure, it was not cheap in either cost or quality, but a good investment compared to other furniture store options/prices. Needless to say, nearly three years later, the pieces are still beautiful, and look and work great. Gary provided excellent customer service, and I would not hesitate to recommend Gray’s.”
“After reading all these reviews, I was a bit skeptical of this shop, but we needed lanai loungers. We ended up buying two beautiful rattan chairs with ottomans covered in Regal's Honolulu Sunset fabric. We enjoyed talking to Isaac (who is a character) and Natasha was gracious. Many people come to Hawai'i expecting to purchase furniture like they do on the mainland, but it's different here. The island relies on shipping barges so we need to practice Aloha and be patient. Small business owners are often between a rock and a hard place (esp with looming tariffs) nowadays with sky-high rent and demanding customers who are also tense. At Island Collections, you won't find a better selection of rattan furniture on the Big Island, especially at this price. Isaac communicates very directly and I appreciate that quality.”
“Shanaye is very hospitable. I usually have cruddy interactions at this location, cashiers usually act as if I’ve burdened them by going through their line but she has been very welcoming, kind and even went out of her way to help me with finding the right price on an item that was incorrectly marked. She was training Naea and I think she makes an excellent trainer, hopefully he takes on her great customer service and attitude”
“I love target, and I love Starbucks, but the target Starbucks employee was not so loved by me I got a caramel Frappuccino and a a mocha Frappuccino, but I was very mad when they asked me are you sure you want to get that and gave me attitude? I didn't think it was very nice even though I was trying to be nice it made me mad and disappointed. I think, overall I still like Starbucks, but I thought he came on a little strong and rude”
