15-1518 28th St H.P.P., KeaauI gotta say, I LOVE this veterinary place. I'm a new transplant, didn't have a vet, and my dog got a nasty gash. They took us in, and from the start, you can tell everyone there loves animals. The vet was amazing, the staff too, and the best part? The bill was reasonable. They didn't jack it up, or add extra stuff, or charge extra because it was last minute. I definitely found our vet. If they have openings and are taking new clients, you'd be lucky to have these folks as your vet. Thank you Big Island Pet Care Center.

Cat healed 7 days later with what he prescribed. The office is a very calm clean place. Staff is caring and loving toward the animals.??❤

Our girl comes back calm and in very healthy shape. We enjoy the pictures that PH sends us of our dog during the trip too! Highly recommend!

16-205 Wiliama Pl, KeaauFun fact this is not the Wailuku on Maui, this brewery is named after the Wailuku River.
Had a wonderful time chatting with the owner on a Sunday afternoon. Their standards are good and they also have a barrel program which has some room for improvement, but is coming along. Where else can you find a barleywine in Hawaii.
They also make their own ginger beer and their Dark and Stormy was delicious.
My favorite beers were the barleywine and the tripel. I tasted 8 total.
The tasting room is well appointed. I appreciate a comfy bar stool. The bathroom was nice and clean.
They also have food trucks or food daily. This day they had Uncle Bob's smoked ribs, with truffle mac and cheese, and a cornbread muffin. Probably the best ribs I have ever had. They were seasoned so well | didn't even need sauce.
Next time you are in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in.
They also have a crowler machine for to go.

16-110 Orchid Land Dr, KeaauWe rented a treehouse to stay in for the weekend near by ! We only ate here the whole vacation to the Hilo side ! We will continue too each time we visit. Great vibes , really good food, and the bartender can make some good drinks !! Well worth the stop in !
