He only ordered testing necessary for the most likely health problem, and didnt upsell lots of additional tests (something I've experienced in the past at some other clinics).

South Maui Animal Clinic
115 Kio Loop, KiheiI've taken Captain to South Maui Animal Clinic several times. The online appointment schedule is very easy. I've always been able to get in right away. Fortunately, my cat has gone in for skin irritation issues--nothing too serious. Each time the staff has been very helpful and informative. I leave with a good plan from the Vet, and knowing more about how to better take of Captain. The costs can add up but I think it's still cheaper than a human so. All in all, no complaints!

I end up coming in at least once a month as we have many fur babies! The way they interact with my animals, always assures me that my babies are in the BEST hands. We have had to go through almost everything with them, from leg amputations to eye surgeries, to sicknesses, you name it! Some situations had us stressed & concerned, but Kihei Vet ALWAYS takes the best care and takes all the worry away! They do anything they can to make any process/procedure smoother for myself and for our pets. What I love most about Kihei Vet Clinic: The compassion & knowledge of the staff. I don't have children of my own, so my pets are my family. Dr. Leaper & the staff have treated myself and my pets with the upmost respect & care, every time we come in. With all the changes throughout the years, we are so grateful that we can consistently rely on this vet clinic for my kiddos! We can't thank them enough for their quality & outstanding services! That's hard to find here on Maui, so look no further.

Owner, Scott made us the best cup of Coconut Americano we’ve ever tasted. There were some pastries that were in the showcase- looked tasty. Nice shop inside to sit n chill b4 starting ur day. If ur in Maui, this is definitely a must try.

2439 S Kihei Rd Ste. 107a, Kihei808 deli is the spot for a quick hot or cold sandwich. Any sandwich you get is going to be good, but the star attraction is the pudding. Banana cream, lilikoi, pistachio, salted caramel, cookie dough, Twix and oreo puddings are the absolute best dessert on Maui.

I ate a couple bites of my Mac and cheese and my bbq beans both of such were really good I just didn’t have the room to finish them. Very glad I chose this place. My son had a bbq chicken plate and he tore it up which is great because he’s a picky guy

1280 S Kihei Rd, KiheiGreat open restaurant if you want the tourist experience. The food is ok, the service can be slow, honestly I have had better service at a food truck on Maui. There is no reason to wait 20 minutes for a diet Pepsi and regular Pepsi.
I had the beet salad, the kalbi ribs, a burger that did not impress, and the poke bowl at market price. I think I will stick to the Foodland poke. Expect a pricey tourist experience.
Five stars for the atmosphere, it's an open layout with a cool breeze, and good live music.
