115 Kio Loop, KiheiI've taken Captain to South Maui Animal Clinic several times. The online appointment schedule is very easy. I've always been able to get in right away. Fortunately, my cat has gone in for skin irritation issues--nothing too serious. Each time the staff has been very helpful and informative. I leave with a good plan from the Vet, and knowing more about how to better take of Captain. The costs can add up but I think it's still cheaper than a human so. All in all, no complaints!

I end up coming in at least once a month as we have many fur babies! The way they interact with my animals, always assures me that my babies are in the BEST hands. We have had to go through almost everything with them, from leg amputations to eye surgeries, to sicknesses, you name it! Some situations had us stressed & concerned, but Kihei Vet ALWAYS takes the best care and takes all the worry away! They do anything they can to make any process/procedure smoother for myself and for our pets. What I love most about Kihei Vet Clinic: The compassion & knowledge of the staff. I don't have children of my own, so my pets are my family. Dr. Leaper & the staff have treated myself and my pets with the upmost respect & care, every time we come in. With all the changes throughout the years, we are so grateful that we can consistently rely on this vet clinic for my kiddos! We can't thank them enough for their quality & outstanding services! That's hard to find here on Maui, so look no further.

Tammy has basically been there for me with words of encouragement and compassion while I sobbed in the waiting room to the news of cancer for my kitty. She has worked with both my schedule and the schedule of the clinic in order to schedule a mutually beneficial appointment time.
John the vet tech is always a constant steady, caring force for my kitty. His calming presence helps my kitty feel safe and secure.
Dr. D is a gentle and innovative vet who gives me options based on my economic concerns along with the very real concerns of a pet owner and cat mom. He has worked with the reality of having a budget and balancing that with the love of my cat. He is practical yet loving and compassionate.
They have all been so great to both me and my kitty treating us both with kindness respect and compassion.
While ive been to other vets. I wouldn’t go anywhere else on Maui once I discovered them. They are truly one of a kind.

Kihei Critter Sitters
1215 S Kihei Rd, KiheiMary Beth watched our pets for a week while we traveled to the mainland for a wedding. Her professionalism, kindness, attention to detail, and communication put us immediately at ease. We were able to enjoy our trip without fretting about what was happening back home. She kept us informed and sent us photos. Our pets have a new best friend, and we'd hire her again in a heartbeat.

2395 S Kihei Rd #118, KiheiNeeded a cold beverage after sitting in the sun. Requested an iced chai tea w/coconut milk. They make their own coconut milk!! It was very delicious. They have many colorful and likely tasty lunch items using fresh ingredients. Just the drink today but I have had sandwiches here in past visits. Friendly people and both in and out seating.

1941 South Kihei Road, KiheiOur experiences at Lava Java's was incredible. The atmosphere is cozy with the sitting area, the playable guitars and the warming and welcoming baristas. Both baristas we saw were fantastic, Jailyn specifically stood out to us as she was personable and professional. The coffee was flavorful and every drink we got was delicious. We stayed in Maui for two weeks and visited multiple times. During our vacation, we recommended Lava Java to every one we were able to.
