We recently turned to MLVH after years of working with Central Maui Animal Clinic for a second opinion on our cat’s diagnosis.

Our cat had pre-existing health complications, and the team at MLVH approached his case with both sensitivity and professionalism. The staff were incredibly courteous, and the doctor was knowledgeable, patient, and thorough—giving us all the information we needed to make informed and thoughtful decisions about his care.

The vet (Dr. Weeks) was also proactive in communicating lab results and discussing treatment options with us, which helped us feel involved and supported every step of the way. We wanted to pursue diagnostic options without being overly intrusive, and the team respected that balance. Every procedure and cost was explained clearly, and we never felt pressured or caught off guard—there were no surprises, only transparency and empathy.

Although the outcome wasn’t what we had hoped for, we’re deeply grateful for how our cat was treated—with dignity, kindness, and genuine care. We plan to bring our future pets here, knowing they will be in compassionate and capable hands.

We've been coming to Dr. Kot for close to 15 years as of this review. Dog care has been great, service from staff is top notch and they're pricey like everywhere else. Ever since COVID, they've stuck to a no entry into the clinic policy.

Laura is amazing! She runs her dog daycare in an extremely organized and professional manner. My puppy really blossomed after going to her regularly and she sends lots of photos of him having fun all day with his dog friends and also doing enriching training activities. She takes great care of him while boarding with her overnight and I trust my dog is safe and happy so I can enjoy my travels. My dog loves Laura’s so much, he runs right into her house when we arrive and doesn’t even notice I’m leaving.

Went on our first day in Maui to try Loco Moco for the first time and it was so fantastic that we just had to go back a second time to get the Loco Moco, and the strawberry French toast, again. We were also surprised by how fantastic the fries of all things were as they had the perfect texture and taste. It’s fantastic food for a very reasonable price and the service was super quick both times.

I don't have much of a sweet tooth, but I tried a bite of everything my family got and it was absolutely top notch! That Chantilly cupcake was decadent, just wow! Didn't have much time but when I come back I'm going to try the milk bread. Their spam musubi was the best I've ever had. Also, excellent service - knowledgeable and genuinely cared about the food, the ingredients, the taste, and the presentation.

Cutting Edge Catering Maui

We used Cutting Edge for our wedding last month and they were amazing to work with! Our guests cannot stop raving about the food! Many have said it was the best food they've had at a wedding! My personal favorite dishes were the poke bowl appetizer and the short rib entree.

Many of our guests have dietary restrictions, and Cutting Edge handled the dietary restrictions with no problem.

This place is insanely good. I don’t normally post but this deserves more business because it would be a shame that Jim and his team don’t get more customers exposed to this amazing food. $18 for a combo meal of some of the best food we had since arriving. Asian, Hawaiian, fusion. The pork had been slow cooked so well it just melted in the mouth. The tempura shrimp was perfect. He (Jim) brings it out on a little trolly all the while you are looking out over the golf course to the beach.
