Our cat had pre-existing health complications, and the team at MLVH approached his case with both sensitivity and professionalism. The staff were incredibly courteous, and the doctor was knowledgeable, patient, and thorough—giving us all the information we needed to make informed and thoughtful decisions about his care.
The vet (Dr. Weeks) was also proactive in communicating lab results and discussing treatment options with us, which helped us feel involved and supported every step of the way. We wanted to pursue diagnostic options without being overly intrusive, and the team respected that balance. Every procedure and cost was explained clearly, and we never felt pressured or caught off guard—there were no surprises, only transparency and empathy.
Although the outcome wasn’t what we had hoped for, we’re deeply grateful for how our cat was treated—with dignity, kindness, and genuine care. We plan to bring our future pets here, knowing they will be in compassionate and capable hands.

My puppy really blossomed after going to her regularly and she sends lots of photos of him having fun all day with his dog friends and also doing enriching training activities. She takes great care of him while boarding with her overnight and I trust my dog is safe and happy so I can enjoy my travels. My dog loves Laura’s so much, he runs right into her house when we arrive and doesn’t even notice I’m leaving.

Didn't have much time but when I come back I'm going to try the milk bread. Their spam musubi was the best I've ever had. Also, excellent service - knowledgeable and genuinely cared about the food, the ingredients, the taste, and the presentation.

From our very first call with Chef Brian, we knew we were in good hands. His energy, creativity, and passion for what he does gave us complete confidence leading up to our wedding. The food was absolutely incredible, and our guests are still talking about it, especially the mushroom risotto. Beyond the amazing food, the coordinated service was exceptional. Everything ran so smoothly, and the level of care and organization made such a difference throughout the night.

I don’t normally post but this deserves more business because it would be a shame that Jim and his team don’t get more customers exposed to this amazing food. $18 for a combo meal of some of the best food we had since arriving. Asian, Hawaiian, fusion. The pork had been slow cooked so well it just melted in the mouth. The tempura shrimp was perfect. He (Jim) brings it out on a little trolly all the while you are looking out over the golf course to the beach.

1770 Mill St, WailukuA great old school diner experience with good Hawaiian comfort food. Sure you can order an American style breakfast, but stick with Saimen, pork cutlet or the Mac pancakes. It gets busy, and service can be slow when busy, but thats expected. Don't come with the attitude, it's a working persons diner with real food and real people. My favorite place to eat when I'm on Maui.
