99 Hana Highway, PaiaHappy we found the Hana Picnic Lunch Company as as we started the Road to Hana. We got the smoked salmon bagel and acai bowl for breakfast + the Shaka & Big Kahlua to save for lunch and everything was delicious! Staff were super friendly too.

161 Hana Hwy, PaiaLocation is outdoor under a large tree. It had rained just before we arrived, so we had drops hitting us for a short while. It was humid at the beginning, but a small breeze later came in and kept us cooler. Food was excellent, quality and price. It is a BYOB restaurant, which is perfect for us. The only thing bugging us was that the server kept asking us if we were ready for our check, when we still wanted to order moer food. There is a 90 minute limit, but this started happening about 45 minutes into our stay.

We understood that they may have been short staffed in the kitchen (Aug 28, 2026) so it may have been an unusual situation. Overall if you aren't starving when you arrive it is worth the wait. *I appreciate the owner quick response, if this was an unusual day I will amend*
