“Our family had an amazing time at this resort and we will definitely be back, many many times in the future. It's authentic, beautiful, and perfect. The front desk staff were very warm and inviting. The manager Mel was super sweet and welcoming. She helps us out tremendously with great things to do at the resort and around the island. The Beach House Restaurant was delicious, service amazing. The rooms were perfect and had an amazing view. My wife, daughters, and I felt like we were home and super comfortable. We never wanted to leave. This was definitely the way to experience Hawaii. Thank Napili Kei for giving us great memories. The beach was gorgeous, we loved the pool, the snack shack. Jordan there was great! He cared about our experience, asking what we did and how it was going. Plus giving advice. He was great! Aloha until next time and Mahalo! (Oh! And the Hula show was super cool!!”

“My family and I had never stayed at this property before but from the time we drove up to the time we had to leave to go home. The property blew our expectations out of the water. We currently hold global status with Hyatt and all the perks that they give you are amazing. Our room was clean, the hotel staff was very friendly and had really good food at all the restaurants on the property. highly recommend if you wanna stay on the west side of the island.”

“LSR is a fantastic condo located right on the Beach in West Maui. The front desk and our Rental Host were so helpful and went way beyond expectations to help us get anything we needed. The room faced the beach side, providing a nice, romantic feel and there was so much to see and do in Lahaina. Most was within walking distance. We stayed for a week in early December of 2022 and enjoyed our stay very much. The 2023 fires in Lahaina did affect the area nearby and some local places were lost. After minor repairs, LSR survived and is open again. I highly recommend scheduling a stay for a quiet escape.”

“Just returned from our 6th visit over the last 20 years and are already dreaming of going back. This hotel is our home away from home and have seen some wonderful changes and some things have stayed wonderfully the same. We were able to bring our teenagers with us this trip and they loved it here. We are made to feel like family every time we come. ❤”

“The facility is convenient to find and close to little shops in the town. The local coffee shop across the street was great. The park next door made a fun place to hang out and look at, but also had the drawback of attracting some loud neighbors late at night. Loved the shore that was just outside, and the sound of the waves and the birds! Loved the constant breeze blowing through the condo. The kitchen was tiny but very functional. The beds were all comfortable. They provided beach chairs, beach towels, and a little ice chest which helped us bring our own lunch places. There was a pretty steady stream of tiny ant-like bugs in the bathroom and occasionally in the kitchen. The landscaping around the facility was lovely. The grill outside (by the waves!) worked very well and we enjoyed the community sharing the use of the grills!”

“Great family-friendly resort with multiple pools and easy access to the beach. The beach walk right next to the property is perfect, and there are plenty of nearby restaurants for dining in or takeout.”

“I rented a room through Maui Properties, and the view from the room made the whole trip. This is thee greatest view of any place I have vacationed. The sound of the waves is loud but in the best way. The light rattling of the palms, the surf meeting the kava rocks, makes it a place where you can sit and just listen for hours. The only bad part about the room was the fold out sofa. It's a back killer and needs to be replaced. I would not count on sleeping anyone on it. We ended up taking the cushions from the sofa on the frame, then putting the mattress on top, and that made it tolerable. The resort and staff are wonderful. The view and beach are 11/10.”

“Everything you could ask for the property is well maintained, beautiful pools, and close to many places! Gave the room 4 only because it’s clearly old, so doesn’t have all the “ bells and whistles” but had kitchenette and washer dryer. we had a great time!”

“There are so many good reasons I could spend a whole day sharing them so I will share 3 of my favorites. First off, the staff are very friendly and helpful. With Hyatt you get free valet and concierge service with your stay, no extra charge. You get room service but have to pay extra. I am here right now and it might be a full time thing or just a short event, but if you don't get housekeeping from 5pm - 11pm, you can choose either 10$ off of your room service or get 500 Hyatt points. Next, they have lots of shops that have a big variety of fun souvenirs, snacks, and drinks. Lastly, they have lots of pools, they have a main pool for every age (except for infants), a kiddie pool, and then a pool for ages 16+. It's guaranteed you won't be bored.”

“Great place to stay, especially for those with children. The staff is super friendly, the views are immaculate, and the restaurants are great. Also in a fantastic location, just a short walk to good restaurants and Whalers Village Shops.”

“Elegant rooms on what is likely the most beautiful beach on the planet. Kaanapali Beach is amazing. The Alii has a beautiful pool right on the beach. Definitely our favorite spot on Maui.”

“Wow, we absolutely loved staying here at the Maui Makai Condo. Incredible location with just a 5 minute walk across the street to the beach. Interior is freshly renovated with awesome kitchen appliances, natural wood touches throughout the space, waterfall shower in the bathroom, washer and dryer for when you need, awesome AC to help regulate on those hot days, and a closet full of beach gear to hit the waves! Definitely will be recommending this to all our family and friends to stay here! Thanks again for a memorable stay! Mahalo! :)”

“We took a family trip here. Our son in law provided his travel knowledge & this place was great in all aspects! If you're ever going to travel to Maui; The Mahana is the place to be! We had a room on the 11th floor & it was amazing. The view day or night was great out of our room. The beach is right about 10-12 feet below us. At night, if you leave your balcony door open, you can hear the water crashing on the shore below. The ocean waves therapeutically puts you in a restful state of mind & body. My wife & I totally enjoyed being away from Los Angeles, Ca hustle & bustle of the big city life. It's about 45 mins away from the airport. This place provides: full kitchen in each room, tv with cable, wi-fi & full service pool & jacuzzi, smoking area, & a great service staff. It's a home away from home. No restaurant (you can prepare & eat at your room or suite). There are markets within walking distance. Big plus a Costco within 10 min of the airport. It was a gift from our daughter & her hubby. Our other daughter, her hubby, our granddaughters went as well! It was a superb family trip. Both relaxing & overall taken back by scenic sunsets & beautiful ocean views. The beach is spectacular both day & night. Such serenity from sun, ocean, sand & wind. Occasionally drizzle of light shower but nice rainbows for a finish. There are 6 grilles fir your convenience open for your use. Though no food is served, there are vending machines available. The main focus is peace, calm & tranquility for you! All the rooms face the ocean, beach & sunset! If you book ahead the spring season is the best! Weather is warm & mostly sunny @70's. Bring a positive attitude & open mind for an experience of a lifetime. Once you've been, I'm sure you'll want to come back! We do! Thank You Chris & J.D. You both for it! Our bday gift! “Stayed in Hololani A-304 and it was fantastic! We watched turles and whales from the lanai sofa, lounge and dining table. It was a great condo with amazing views, underground parking (so the car stayed cool), cooling breezes and the pool and barbecues were spotless. Bookings available through My Perfect Stays.”

“I'm in my room right now, balcony door open, gentle breeze, sounds of the ocean and soft live music on the lawn, Over the Rainbow. It's Paradise. Beautiful hotel, lots of amenities, activities and cultural highlights like Cliff diving and fire dancing. Great food and bars, lazy river. I might never leave here lol

Rooms: We got an ocean view upgrade for a great price!! Rooms are nice, that view tho!

Nearby activities: Snorkel Molokini, Turtle Town, Road to Hand. It's truly a playground here!”

“I grew up in Napili so this hotel takes me back to the great old days. Old world charm, tropical lush landscape, quiet, and close to Napili Bay is the best thing about this little place. The lanais are facing the pool and lush landscape so it reminds me of going to my grandma's house and hanging out on her front porch.”

“You can walk right to the beach by just going down the stairs or elavator and theres a lot of places for food nearby, wifi is free, service is pretty fast view is absolutely beautiful, the pools are nice and you can go to a gym and get free drink on the bottom floor. Our room was not the biggest but the sofa could turn into a bed.

Walkability: Walking down to the beach or pools are so easy after you go down the stairs or elavator you comr to the pool and a bit more walking to get to the beach and the beach has showers to take sand of yourself

Food & drinks: Food is pretty good like the burgers and chicken strips and fries and some other stuff. Some drinks are free but some you have to buy. The free drinks are like water and orange juice but the orange juice does not taste like fresh squeezed.”

“The resort is amazing. The people are very friendly. We stayed there for 9 days, and having a washer and dryer available was very helpful. The views are amazing. From one side, you get beautiful ocean views, and from the other side, the views of the green island. We will definitely be coming back.”

“Just got back from a week's stay at the Valley Isle, rented a Worldmark 2 BR unit which was pretty large by Hawaii standards and had a fabulous ocean view. FYI, Worldmark doesn't own the resort just manages a couple of dozen units there. Our room was very clean, well equipped and slept the 5 of us just fine. There was no A/C in any of the rooms but there was always a constant strong breeze because you're right on the beach and also several ceiling fans so we never felt uncomfortable. You're not going to get the amenities here like room service that you would in the ritzy resorts but the view is definitely 5-stars and the location can't be beat! Lots of eateries, bars and even a mini-market nearby that we walked to. Would definitely return for another stay!”

“In all fairness, we were on a timeshare package - unfortunately, they give us the worst room they have - that being said -The grounds are lovely, all the personal that we dealt with were super, the beach is lovely, the food was fine.”
