444 Makawao Ave a, MakawaoMy favorite vet on the island, I drive all the way from the Southside for them! $65 office visit (in 2024) and all pricing is reasonable. Last year, I did my Rabies Titer for Hawaii travel through them for $200ish (not including rabies vaccination which was $25ish) whereas other island vets were well over double the pricing. The staff is so friendly, responsive, and always on it. Highly recommend!

444 Makawao Ave Ste. B, MakawaoWe took my dog to these guys to get shots and a nail clipping. We assumed it would take about 30 minutes. They returned in about 5 minutes and everything was done. I should add that my dog is utterly terrified of everything. She has the most anxiety of any creature I know. - and they were so warm and patient with her. I love this vet clinic, they are so awesome.

3620 Baldwin Ave, MakawaoEnjoyed brunch and coffee here at a quiet Maui town, Makawao. Wait staff, mainly cashier there was friendly even my party took bit of long time to decide and order food. All menu items are on a wall, difficult to explore and decide at first. Like all other Hawaiian restaurants, the price tag does not always justify the quality and content of foods. But here at Freahies, most of omelets and drinks my family ordered were decent and nicely presented. Outside courtyard area next to big trees was perfect for enjoying Hawaiian breeze.

24 Kiopaa St, MakawaoI actually love your pizza and I love the truck, but I was really disappointed when I went to place an online order and did not realize that you had changed your hours from 11 AM to 3 PM. It did not give me an alert until I placed my order and told me I couldn't have my order until 3 PM when I attempted to cancel it there is a thing that came up that said I cannot cancel this. I was super disappointed luckily my parents were able to come down at 3 PM and pick up the pizza I ordered or it would've just went to waste so just beware when you're ordering online that they are not open until 3 PM although they used to be open at 11

3647 Baldwin Ave, MakawaoHad a fantastic breakfast on our way through town on a Bike Maui tour. I had the mini loco moco pork plate and my mom had the açaí bowl, both of which were delicious.
The ladies working were friendly and talkative, even singing along to the radio on multiple songs. Just seems like the kind of community place you want to hang out and with great food on the menu, it’s worth checking out if you’re in town.

8434 360 Pukalani St, MakawaoThis place will surprise you if you are looking for fancy clubhouse. Not it. This is outdoor eating on the porch of a trailer but the best food. The fish and chips are crispy and yummy. The burgers are the best I've ever get had. Skip the Mac salad not great. Stop by for food even if you aren't golfing.

3612 Baldwin Ave, MakawaoA hidden gem. A little pricey but it's Maui. No prob getting last minute reservations but then we're early eaters (5:30). We both had fresh catch, clams for app. Good wine list too, and looks like fun locals bar.
