444 Makawao Ave a, MakawaoI was new on the island and had to find a place to board my cats, not knowing where to take Them I went to Google. Search and even though this facility was a little bit farther from my house there’s a veterinarian clinic on site. There’s also a horse boarding area. The staff was so friendly. The facility is so clean smelled good. The pets are all happy and my kitties even though it was her first day ever in boarding, they did extremely well. The girls were very patient with them and I’m definitely on my way back to have him babysit my cats again.

444 Makawao Ave Ste. B, MakawaoWe took my dog to these guys to get shots and a nail clipping. We assumed it would take about 30 minutes. They returned in about 5 minutes and everything was done. I should add that my dog is utterly terrified of everything. She has the most anxiety of any creature I know. - and they were so warm and patient with her. I love this vet clinic, they are so awesome.

55 Pukalani St, MakawaoStopped by the Pukalani restaurant. Empty at 430p. When we walked in, there was no one behind the counter. For a second, we thought it was closed and that they forgot to lock the door. But everyone was there. They were behind a wall lol. Inside was clean and AC was cold. The staff was very nice and took our orders promptly. We ordered the crispy pork belly special and a breaded ono sandwich. My husband didn't care for the fish sandwich. He said the fish was bland and he didn't like the lettuce. After dissecting the sandwich, he ended up adding a little shoyu and thought it tasted better. The CPB was great. It comes with Mac salad, pickled onions, cherry tomatoes and a vinegar dipping sauce. I loved it. The only thing I'd change would be the size of the pieces of pork. Would be better if it was smaller (so it can fit in the sauce container). The portion was good for $19

24 Kiopaa St, MakawaoI actually love your pizza and I love the truck, but I was really disappointed when I went to place an online order and did not realize that you had changed your hours from 11 AM to 3 PM. It did not give me an alert until I placed my order and told me I couldn't have my order until 3 PM when I attempted to cancel it there is a thing that came up that said I cannot cancel this. I was super disappointed luckily my parents were able to come down at 3 PM and pick up the pizza I ordered or it would've just went to waste so just beware when you're ordering online that they are not open until 3 PM although they used to be open at 11

The French onion soup was particularly comforting for the weather, and the steak skewers were flavorful and well-prepared. At the current price point, an additional skewer would make the dish feel more balanced.
My husband ordered the smash burger, and it was clear that a lot of care goes into the details. Even the pickles tasted house-made, which added a thoughtful touch. The Kanaka beef stew was another highlight—the texture of the meat was perfectly tender and cooked just right. I would highly recommend it.
While the service could use some improvement, the quality of the food more than makes up for it. Overall, the dishes were thoughtfully prepared and very enjoyable.

I never had hand rolls before. I thought they were all adventurous. I loved the addition of the nuts. Smoked Marlin was superb.
We loved salty miso soup. The only thing that I didn't like was the cucumber salad. There were very few cucumbers on the bed of wilted, yellowing greens.
We loved lemon rose chocolate truffles and Gingerade.
I hope to come again when I am visiting Maui.
