40 Paa St, WailukuI have been taking my dog to MLVH for over a year (since I first got her). MLVH staff is so nice and careful. My dog loves them!! Yesterday my dog had some unusual lab results. Although they closed at 4pm, Dr. Weeks called me at 7 pm to give an update. I am very thankful the Doc was willing to take her own time and inform me about my dog!!! BIG SHOUT OUT TO MLVH!!

1872 Wili Pa Loop, WailukuThere are many things I envy about my dogs life. He doesn’t have to work. He’s cuter, faster and a better swimmer than me. He can eat literal garbage and it never seems to upset his stomach. But I envy nothing more than the healthcare he has access to on this island, particularly with Dr. Kot. I wish I had a doctor who cared about me as much as Dr. Kot cares about the animals he treats. He and his staff always go above and beyond to make sure your animal is taken care of. They will squeeze you in if you need them to, even when there’s no room to squeeze. Dr. Kot will provide top notch care and still take the time to answer all your questions with patience, kindness and make sure to explain everything in a way that you’ll understand. He even called me once at 8 o clock at night, after what I’m sure was a long day of surgery for him, because I needed something for my pet insurance and he wanted to make sure I got it. Do you know how many times you have to call a human’s doctor’s office to get anything submitted to your insurance? It’s a lot. These guys have already been paid, and it doesn’t really affect them if I get reimbursed or not, and he still took the extra time to make sure everything was good for me. So, yeah, my dog is lucky to be a dog for a lot of reasons, but none more so than the fact he gets to go to Dr. Kot.

631 Meakanu Ln, WailukuLaura’s Doggie Care is amazing. It has helped my chihuahua so much. When he first started, he was having a problem with fear-based behaviors, but the progress he has made is incredible. At daycare he learned to view his crate as a safe space to decompress and this has been so important at my job ( he spends a lot of time at my workplace) and during the tsunami warning last month. He has made so many dog friends, learned how to meet and play with other dogs, and he can’t contain his excitement on the mornings that he knows are daycare days. He’s also learning to listen to commands better. I am convinced if he could talk, I think he’d tell me he wants to live at Aunty Laura’s full-time ?. Thank you Laura for all you do! I would recommend Laura’s Doggy Care to everyone!

The chicken was amazing, super crispy and tasty, loved the lilikoi dijon sauce but even without it the chicken was juicy and delish. Look forward to going back to try more dishes We brought the little papaya home and it was - according to mom, who is a discerning papaya-eater - wonderful. It was cool and shady at the outdoor picnic tables, and fun to see four big macaws getting out of one small sedan

I highly recommend it. It's got a cool vibe and it's the only thing open at 10:30 with alcohol. ? We forgot to take photos of our food but it was pretty and so ridiculously good.

62 N Market St # 100, WailukuI follow a Maui FB influencer that claimed SixtyTwo MarcKet Restaurant had the BEST Loco Moco in Maui. My husband and I got lost in the jungle, hiking earlier that day, and were several hours late arriving for our lunch reservation. (Open Table) I'm sure we looked like we survived a typhoon... our clothes/hair were drenched by rain, we had leaves and mud splatters on us. ? They graciously set a table for us and my first experience eating the Loco Moco was phenomenal. It was so tasty and filling. This Restaurant offers 3 different variations of Loco Moco, and I selected the dish with White rice, ground beef patty, a rich/dark gravy with mushrooms (and possibly onions), topped with 2 over easy eggs. Sooooo darn good. If you're interested in trying Hawaiian comfort food, Loco Moco, in particular, I would consider eating here. Parking was very easy along the street and free the day we visited. There were a few homeless chilling out, but not bothering anyone.
