“Love TJ's, but this store is wayyyyy too crowded. Hard to find available parking, and impossible to move a cart through the aisles. I went at around noon, stayed for a few minutes, and left after trying to get specifically to the fresh meat section which looked like a basement sale at Macy's. I made a trip to this store specifically to get a spatchcocked rosemary lemon chicken which was unavailable. I was an out-of-towner who drove 75 miles to town for a medical appointment, and was disappointed at the heavy crowds and the lack of stock.”

“This place has excellent sandwiches! I stopped in to get some quick things to serve at an open house I was doing for one of my Algonquin Listings, and grabbed a quick sandwich. The Turkey and Bacon panini was fantastic. The wait didn't bother me at all because the staff was very friendly and engaging.”

“This is our new Aldi . We came from Dundee illinois and thought those were decent until we went to the one in Alpharetta Georgia. Wow, that one is great . But this new one in Dabque iowa is secound . Good job . I still don't like the fresh pizza at the main door when you come it . The pizza needs to be last because it is big and needs to sit flat.”

“I received a pleasant surprise from the store manager Ernest today. I placed a curbside pick up order for New Year’s Eve, which was disappointing with some moldy bread and rotten vegetables. I called Customer service and they immediately refunded me for the items. But Ernest called me a week later and asked me to contact him when I arrived for my next curbside pick up. So at today’s curbside pick up, I asked for Ernest and he met me at the door and handed me a gift card for the shopping experience I had New Year’s Eve. This is why I continue to shop at the store. The quality of food is always excellent and curbside pick up is always a wonderful experience. It was a fluke and I understand it happens. Ernest made sure that I knew that customers are important at this location and took care of me in a wonderful unexpected way. Thank you, Ernest for making sure your customers are happy. I will continue shopping at this store and look forward to the great items I purchase and pleasant interactions I have with the employees who load my car and the wonderful management, taking care of any unsavory situations that are brought to their attention. What a great experience and once again, thank you Ernest for going above and beyond to make sure your customers are happy.”

“Always a good experience at Jewel-Osco Have what I want and everyone is helpful and friendly. Very nice store. Clean and well organized. All employees were courteous and professional. very large with the best selection of gluten free things I have seen anywhere. The fish and fresh meat counter are good. and the bakery section could cause you to completely blow your diet and your budget! Everything in one place! Good line organization, shorter wait than expected, everyone wearing masks as they should. Excellent variety of products! The store is in a great location and very accessible. Overall a great store.”

“Honestly no idea where all those bad reviews came from. I’ve visited this store twice, both satisfied. Today I got the most delicious store made guacamole I’ve ever had. Healthier products for reasonable price, lots of sales. Hope it’ll get busier soon. Thank you”

“Love this place, it really hasn't changed since Butera took over. Went on 2/2/23, this place is still a great store. They have had to find items for several ethnicities. Asian, Mediterranean and Hispanic to name a few. The deli is still the same. The bakery is still the same. Update 6/13/23. Some things have changed the deli for the most part is the same but some of the Italian meats and cheeses have changed. Still a great choice if you are making subs. Visit 10/10/2023. I stopped in to pick up some lunch meat and cannoli filling. My daughter and family were coming up for a visit. When I got up to register, the light was on, but no one was there. I looked over to the service desk and someone started walking over. It looked like his back was hurting him. So I asked him about it. He said no I am just really, really sick and it looked like he had just thrown up. Why would you have this person working with the public.”

“When here last week on Thursday to grab a few things for my daughter's birthday. Wasn't planning on getting a cake, but as I passed the bakery they had the one see was asking for! I forgot to put an order in and was planning on picking up cupcakes. But sitting there was the princess and all the colors of the rainbow cake she has been asking for. So thank you guys for unknowingly making my daughter's birthday in her words THE BEST BIRTHDAY EVER! Yes she screamed it. Lol”

“The sushi from the jewel osco is amazing and it makes up for the bad social skills from employees who work at the jewel. As much as I dislike shopping for groceries there I'm a big sushi fan and enjoy it lots.”
