βI've had a lot of work done by Wheeling Auto in the past. An entire exhaust system, a new gas tank, four new tires, new battery, filter s etc .Every time they treated me great, even offered to lend me a car. We finally found our mechanics that we're going to use for a long time.β

As a woman, I completely approve of this place. Usually, my dad takes care of anything car-related for me, but sometimes I have to handle it on my own β and in the past, Iβve gone to places where I felt taken advantage of.
This experience was totally different. Tony was amazing! He got my oil change done during my lunch break and even filled up my tires. He was honest, respectful, and efficient.
It means a lot to know there are places where women can feel safe, respected, and not taken advantage of. I really appreciate that, and Iβll definitely be coming back.β
βI showed up this week at Jeff's Automotive Services unannounced and without an appointment. They waited on me immediately, took only a few minutes to do the thing I needed, charged me and I was out of there.
While I would never show up without an appointment for anything bigger unless it were a sudden emergency, I feel they treated me really well. I used to go to Joe at Formula One in Mt. Prospect, and I'm so happy that I've found a new home for my car! ?β

βSo I have an Audi A4 that was making weird noises in the engine compartment and I went to three different shops to get a quote for whatever was wrong with it. One of the shops said I needed an engine given the mileage that the car has (255k) and quoted me $5500 for a used engine. The second shop said the same, the engine was going plus talked about all the suspension work that it needs to the price of $7000! The third just said they don't work on German cars. My neighbor told me to check out First Point that he's good and reasonable. I went to see them spoke to the owner Juan and I explained what my dilemma was. I left him the car to do a diagnostic as the others diagnostic was just hearing the engine noise and bouncing it up and down. I get a call and the owner explains that I don't need an engine it was the timing belt causing my problem and some suspension work was needed. When he gave me the price of $2700 for everything I jumped on the repair not only because it's cheaper than getting a new car, but I really like my car! The body is super clean and doesn't look dated and it really hasn't given me much problems just wear and tear stuff. With the timing job he also does the waterpump as its driven by the belt. I really don't do reviews but getting my car back virtually running like new the shop gets my props! Not only did he do an awesome job he didn't take me for a fool! While the engine was half torn down i had him change the spark plugs and a fresh oil change. There's still actual shops that has integrity and First Point is one of them! From now on, all my Car problems go to him, I would add my wife in this but she has a new car under warranty, once that expires, First Point gets it. Big shout out to Juan and team!!!β

βI took my muscle car to Barnes to address an overheating issue. The car was recently restored. Prior shop did not install proper radiator set up. Chuck came up with a solution and had new fans installed. Additionally he identified a number of other issues which needed to be repaired. Prior shop did not install these items correctly. Car is now running and riding great. I will definitely use Barnes again for future repair needs.β

Prior to Jimmy's inspection, I had been troubleshooting an odd issue on a Honda CRV that had led me to replace an alternator 3 separate times as well as some fuses and relays around the starting system. Within an hour he had a solid diagnosis of the problem and repaired the car within the same day. The cost for the work seemed reasonable and left with a high level of confidence in our vehicle.β
