“Although we were a little nervous by the lack of confirmation email or number, upon arriving we were grateful for the prompt assistance, low price, tidy and clean room, which matched descriptions we'd seen online, gorgeous tile work in the updated bathrooms, a large television and functional microwave/fridge set. It is near a hospital, so you will be hearing ambulances and sirens constantly. There are plenty of little shops nearby too, if you need to buy earplugs. Security cameras in the parking lot made us feel safe leaving our car for extended periods as we took the nearby bus to a train station to the city, about an hour ride total, which we preferred over city driving. So all in all, Travel Inn was convenient, cheap and well maintained, making it a soft place to land each night after our excursions. Thank you very much for making our trip easier and safer!”

“They have a shuttle service to the airport, so that was quite handy. They also give complementary toothbrush and toothpaste, which came in handy as I didn’t have mine. The breakfast is served at 6:00 and it’s your typical hotel breakfast, so nothing fancy. Overall I would recommend this place”

“To be fair, we only stayed here overnight as our son was scheduled for surgery the next morning and it was right down the street. The only other Hyatt House we have stayed at is in Indianapolis when we go to Pacer games. The staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. We pulled up, checked in and the wife and son headed to the room while I parked. As I am walking to the entrance I see a Fire Truck pull up. Inside the Fire Alarms are going crazy. Took me a minute to locate the family but they were on the patio. Staff said its just something burnt in a microwave and if we did not mind the smell we could return but FD at elevators said no until its cleared out. That took about 20 minutes and we got back in our room. Later I left to get some food and noticed 2 Oak Brook Officers standing with a lady by a luggage cart full of items. Didnt think anything about it but as I walked out the door I heard a commotion and turned to see them hooking her up as she resisted. Related to the fire alarm? who knows. The room was ok but it along with the hallways are in some serious need of refurbishment. Lamp shades were ragged, no usb ports for charging, (only in the lobby area which was nice) shower head was wobbley and it leaked out the glass door onto the floor. Bathroom sink was small and not a lot of room for stuff. I guess for the name/price I expected a little bit more and modern. It looks like they cater to a lot of construction workers or extended stays. Only reason we were in the area was for the surgery, probably will not have a reason to stay overnight again but would probably only book again if nothing else was available as was the case with this stay.”

“Very nice, clean, and extensive options for breakfast. While there, it snowed for 24 hours and the parking lot was continually plowed and salted. This will definitely be my go to hotel for future visits. Plus, the Sears Tower could be seen from my room.”

“I was there for a business conference this past weekend, I totally loved the hotel, it was well lit, clean, ample parking, the conference room the we were at was super big and warm, we were a big group. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, the bathrooms were really nice and clean, their cleaning crew where checking that the bathrooms were properly stocked and clean at all times, they have nice eating areas with tvs and plenty of places to seat down, I didn't get to see the bedrooms but if I'm going to judge by what I saw in the lower level I'm sure they are wonderful too, I totally recommend this hotel. ?❤️”

“I recently stayed at the hotel for a yearly birthday/pool get away. Winnie at the front desk was super accommodating and welcoming. The rooms were cleaning happy they were able to get our rooms by the pool area. The pool temp was warm along with the pool area with temps outside dipping to -22 windchills. Devon at the restaurant/bar was just great too! One complaint...BRING BACK THE QUESIDILLAS! lol”

“I gave the stars that I did it because for Father’s Day has drove an hour and 10 minutes from Griffith Indiana to this location because I thought it would be different, When we arrived, the room smelled old, not inviting at all, but we did have rose petals on the bed, which was nice. I had the cobalt the up and downstairs, sat down to relax, It was something happening with the pipes under the sink because every 3 to 4 minutes it would make like a draining/smaller explosion noise but very loud, So we couldn’t relax, Ended up complaining and they moved us to another room, 30 minutes later, So I felt like that ruined the experience that I wanted for my husband that day, especially after an hour and 10 minute drive.. They moved us to the lotus, which was I believe $10-15 more but I heard everything that was going on in the room next door ..not really sure how I feel about this place, Not sure if I will go back.. The service was very nice..”

“Excellent experience at this hotel, particularly the location and level of service and professionalism. The staff is extremely helpful and courteous. The rooms are large and clean. While there are older style elements, they add to the historic charm. You can't beat the location right in the heart of Oak Park, plus convenient transit to DT Chicago. Plenty of coffee shops, bars, restaurants (two right on the premises), shopping, entertainment and services, all within a few blocks. I have stayed here twice and will definitely stay here on my next visit to the area.”

“Nice spacious room with sitting area, nice size bathroom. 5 day 4 night stay only had service once. Great location for our needs and plans. Small fridge, no microwave. Pool ( smaller) was open and warm which is becoming more of a treat then a standard with hotels in this star range, amenity and price. Breakfast was decent. Over all I would stay here again.”
