“Well, let me start off by saying that I started to fall behind in my bills for a moment, and extra space storage was one of them (13th & Cicero). I stayed in communication with them while being alerted to all the fees that was piling up on my space… nothing can be more stressful! So after talking to one of the employees (“Kim”) She offered me a little Relief With removing some of the fee’s so I could get back on track and save my items from being Auctioned. There was no better time than now to take advantage of her kindness, so it was imperative That I make it down there as fast as I could pay this Outstanding bill. “I have had nothing but great energy, and management, from the staff at the Berwyn Extra Space Storage facility at 13th and Harlem. I originally rented a space online; then realized I needed More space and rented another small unit online. However, the two units were in separate buildings, very inconvenient, and I Still needed more space. I decided to actually talk with the very Live people working in the on-site office to see what could be done to better serve my storage needs. Elizabeth helped me find a space large enough for all of my stuff, and transferred or refunded my costs from my bad storage choices. I did need to "vacate" the smaller storage units within 24hrs, so I recommend you keep that in mind if you notice that you've make similarly bad storage choices. I had no problems reaching the 24hrs policy. There are enough carts, with great wheel systems, for me to easily move my stuff.
The takeaway? Go into the office; talk with a real person that can help you get the right sized space for your needs... the First time. At this Berwyn facility, I recommend Elizabeth as the go-to for assistance. She is very knowledgeable about what she does, and has a very personal touch.
