“The owner is good people he’s caring and he treats ppl fair and he has a good inventory of many things you don’t see in other markets that ppl can’t go buy after 7 pm around town u can bet A-1 probably has it there foid hours hold cleaners ice cream candy small deli and variety of frozen meals nice clothes shoes Perseus nike shoes electronics Bluetooth speakers balk caps eating utensils cups plates napkins laundry detergents everything from A to Z I really like this pkace it’s close to my home I can walk there in two minutes the store is kept clean nice business good management good owner”

“They have very friendly and helpful staff. Will help you locate items in the store...and walk you over to them. You can get in and out quickly. You do have to bag your own groceries, but they provide a nice station with bags always stocked. The store doesn't always have the same thing in stock every week. Clean, well lit parking lot. Located in a strip mall with other stores.”
“Good place to shop if you only need a few things and wanna get in and out of the store fairly quickly. I hate that they have a self checkout but it never seems to be open. That's not really a big deal if the line is not very long. But it would still make things go quicker if they would either have more than one cashier at a time or open the self checkout.”

Their food boxes are exactly as promised! Always fresh produce and completely frozen meats and snacks!Can't ask for anything more.”
“They have great produce that even looks fresh, some bigger named stores don't . They sell both name brand and generics and you can save money. I go across town to the one by Staley's at five point because I like how friendly and helpful the staff are . Try them if you haven't.”

“I was truly surprised at just how good their food is. Their chicken fingers and strips are delicious, as are the potato wedges, and mac & cheese. I only wish they carried the chicken cracklings like the other location, and I'm not crazy about honey biscuits. The service is friendly as well. One of my new favorite lunch spots. The fish is also amazing. So tender, and HUGE portions. Even my husband, who is not a big fan of fish loved it.”
“There shelves are not always stocked due to lack of employees on truck days. So, it is always messy. When they work with a skeleton crew it's not their fault. Its Dollar generals fault. We are only human and can only do so much. Schedule more employees on truck days DOLLAR GENERAL!!”

“Dollar General on Pershing is more organized than Dollar General on Mound Rd. I like Dollar General stores because I can get in and get out fast. Their prices may be a little bit more, but they are very handy.”

And her pricing is definitely a bonus, as she is affordable and doesn't make you feel like you are breaking your wedding budget.”
“I shop regularly at Dollar General except at the Frist Drive location in Decatur Illinois. The store is beyond dirty. The windows and floors are covered in dirt. There is no hand sanitizer or anyone helping with cart wipe down. Do the store a favor and bring in professional cleaners. Your sales will increase.”
