“I go to this location prob 2-3x a week over the last 3 months. Everyone does the best they can for being a high volume location pinned against a strips of fast food. Other HD near by are out of red mulch, stones, gutters or just random stuff but this location runs out and restocks. I was behind a woman whom was returning flowers and complaining for over 20-25 minutes because she planted them in March and didn't cover or any other protection. It was mid June when she decided to go "Karen" on everyone in the store and talk to the manager's manager's manager. I was expecting her to ask for the Home Depot board members' personal information next.Customers just need to chill out and get over themselves. Curbside pickup is easy as you can put in your spot location on your order login or text it. This location also has a wider selection of crown molding that others done near by. I would like to add an employee named Greg who was picking online / curbside orders I'm guessing was super helpful and charming on my last visit. He helped me located some patio furniture that comes in multiple boxes and give us inventory levels at the Randhurst location. Put on your mask, shut up and give the employees a break cause we're all in this together.”

“We are lucky to have this place nearby. I usually go to Lucy’s in Zion for appliance parts as I am in Lake County. Though they stock the part I needed this time typically, they happened to be out of it. By backup (Abt), was out of stock too. They suggested Automatic Appliance Parts at the exact same time I found online they had 18 of the gas bake igniter for my range that I needed. They were also open at 8:30am on Saturday. I’m stock and open on Saturday mornings is already a huge bonus.When I walked in and gave them my stove model number and told them I needed an ignitor I thought they looked up the wrong one because he gave me an automatic discount on the part from what I knew the price was online.Local, open early and weekends, large stock of parts, good pricing and knowledgeable people, if you don’t treasure places like this, you are a lost consumer.They may become my go to source for appliance parts. They not only have their inventory online but accept Apple Pay too.I am at a loss trying to find a flaw here….”

“Very helpful, especially for people who have trouble making ends meet. They offered me lay a way. I had orders that came in very quickly than was supposed to be. I even had a mattress order that came in a box. I was a little worried because of stories I heard about mattresses in a box carrying an odor permanently. Once they came and opened the box I didn't smell a thing. Didn't need to air it out or anything. I was able to sleep on it the same day. They gave me a box spring that was too high. When I called them about it the came back the following day and exchanged it with no problem.”

“The LG BP530 Blu-ray Player I ordered through World-Import played the PAL format discs I ordered from down-under on my NTSC equipment with no problems. And that is even when sending the HDMI output through a wireless extender to a CVBS converter to an old CRT TV! I put in any kind of disc and hit play. I could not be more pleased.”

“My wife and I just discovered this store recently. They have the most cutting-edge kitchen appliances that I've seen at any store. They let us shop and look around without bothering us. But at the same time, salespeople were available for questions. The employees were so nice that they let us shop for an extra 15 minutes after the store closed and didn't even say anything. Quite frankly, my wife and I weren't aware of the store hours.The products here are very expensive but they are from the best quality brand names.”

“Retail Stores are difficult to review, because it's all about the layout, mobile site, and CUSTOMER SERVICE. Home Depot is no different from any other home remodeling store, except I find their stores are much easier to locate items than other stores. I can be in and out of the store in 10mins because it's easy to navigate. For those who don't shop at Home Depot very often, then your smart phone will be your best friend. Simply search their site for product (make sure you to have the right location) and in return their site will provide the aisle and Bin#. Super Helpful. A store isn't a great store without great employees. I had a question about a product and one of their employees took his time to explain the pros and cons of several different products depending on the nature of or current situation. This allowed us to make a sound decision on which product to purchase.”

“Menards in Melrose Park is a great store. Fully stocked, great variety, super staff. We have had deliveries from them, picked up things in their yard and the guys at the gate are so nice and of course shopped the store hundreds of times. We recently needed the help of customer service today and I was taken care of by the general manager himself!! JOSHUA SINNETTGENERAL MANAGER 2ND ASST treated me like I was the only customer he had dealt with all day. So much attention and even emailing back to report back and to assure if I needed anything in the future do not hesitate!! Also Kendra help me along the way and said the same to call back if I needed help!! This is going above and beyond for sure and really sets them apart!! Thank you for everything!!”

I told her i would pay the difference, but they will not do any exchanges without the receipt. The service was fine, but that policy should allow exchanges, esp when the new item is $100 more.”

“50/50 chance to find what you want within 15 mins. 25% chance to find someone to help you find anything without an attitude. 10% chance to find someone that knows more about what you need than you do! lol.And 100% chance the person that helps you will use the same app that I just used and be just as confused as I am. Seriously, I’m usually there for a minimum of 30 mins to get nuts and bolts… you know in those drawers that have nuts and bolts already torn open (stolen) before I got there and no one replenished the stock or took out the empty bags. Regardless, I keep going back. Why? They offer military discounts (10%) and I appreciate that. Bottom line, I eventually find what I’m looking for 90% of the time, it’s just never quick!”

I decided to go to the Glenview Home Depot so I could see the Refrigerator and Dishwasher. He spent much time with me explaining and answering my questions. He is a cheerful person and I could tell he liked his job. You are lucky to have such an employee! I give 5 Stars to Mike and I look forward to working with him if I should need a washer & dryer. I refuse to shop at your biggest competitor as their prices are too high and they charge fees for every little thing! “It may be easy to pick on the Home Depot. It’s big, sometimes help is hard to find, an employee may be surly.I haven’t checked, but I’m guessing the review rating of this place is somewhere around 3. When something bad havens, people are quick to leave feedback. But when it’s good we just carry on with our day.I really like this Home Depot. The staff is filled with a lot of young people who are quite pleasant and competent. True, it may be hard to find stuff but the place is big. And prices are low; I don’t expect to find contractors working there with 25 years of experience!I recently rented a truck for 3 hours and 43 minutes. It cost me 80 bucks plus tax. That’s about 20 dollars an hour. That’s great. And the truck drove well, and was in good condition. It was a comfy ride and big. The young man at the rental desk was very nice on a very cold day.I asked a woman for help solving a problem. She walked me around the store until we found the perfect solution: a roll of insulation. I wish I had gotten her name. Any way, she knew the store and put on her thinking cap until we found just what I needed.Another young woman helped me find a washer in plumbing. Now it may be easy to dismiss a young Latina with a fancy hair style as not being a competent plumber, but she knew her area that’s for sure.The tool area in this store is big and the aisles are wide, which I’m not used to at a Home Depot.This store is around the corner from a nice mall as well.I get what I need at this Home Depot quickly and at a good price. The shopping experience is good. What more do I need from a store? Nothing.Thanks, Home Depot! And thanks rental guy and Latina gal and air conditioner insulation gal. You’re a credit to your company. If I find out their names I’ll let the company know that they’re doing well.”
