“I have been shopping exclusively at this Jewel for a number of years, and have always found it to be well-stocked, with fresh produce, a great meat department, and a yummy bakery. But the staff is its best feature. These folks are knowledgeable and helpful, always willing to answer questions and help you find products. I give much of the credit to the charming and personable store manager, who is on the floor constantly working alongside her staff, but always eager to help customers. A great team running a superb store!”

“I went to Mariano's to look for a retirement gift for my coworker around 9:00pm and was in the flower department looking to have someone blow up a balloon for me and Dawn popped out of nowhere and was the most sweetest woman that I have ever encountered with. She didn't even work in that specific department and still found a way to help me out and mind you she's new to Mariano's as well! She helped me pick out some flowers as well and walked me over to the register to check out. Thank you so much Dawn for making my last minute shopping a blast!!”
“This location is well worth the 8 minute drive from the Waukegan Rd location.The store is much cleaner, well stocked, and friendlier then the one 8 minutes away. It has also been remodeled which is a huge plus. It is is large store with a large seasonal section at the front of the store, ample check outs and self check outs too. There's always someone around to help out, and that's not the case for the other location.All in all, one of the better Jewel stores in the area”
“My husband and I visited our favorite store and happened upon an amazing cooking demonstration. It was such a pleasure to meet Chef Rosemary. She provided in depth insight into the entire feeezing process undertaken by her company, Wild Fork. After tasting her dish that she prepared (short ribs)we were in hook, line and sinker regarding the freezing process. The store is magnificent. We can’t wait share our experience with friends and family. Chef Rosemary shared with us that we should keep an eye out for the possibility of cooking classes being offered in the new year. Good Luck to Wild Fork as you continue to grow.”
“When it comes to customer service, Osco Pharmacy and their personnel have been outstanding.Unlike other pharmacies I could mention, the fine folks behind the pharmacy counter have always been so kind, patient & very professional in answering any questions I have; furthermore they have never been condescending in requiring information or asking questions of me.We should remember that when certain medications are not available due to backorder, that the problem is generally with Pharmaceutical Drug maker and not with the Pharmacy and Pharmacist, nor their staff who assist them.”
“I always go there for some bakery items and I always get fresh. On a regular basis I buy flower’s bouquet which is always fresh at good price. The staff is always available for help very friendly and courteous”
“Most jewel grocery stores are pretty good and their fruit and vegetables have gotten a lot better in the last couple years. I would definitely not recommend any of their meat products but if you’re just overall grocery shopping and want to save money, there are certainly a lot cheap cheaper than Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods but just don’t buy any meat from there.”

“I love Mariano’s. It’s like the best combination of Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods. Prices are fair (and even lower than Jewel Osco) but the quality is high, and selection of products is great. Lines are not too bad even on the weekends.”

“The store is great. The employees are great. What makes this store problematic is the parking lot and the pushy self-entitled shoppers/drivers. Customers have a "look-out-for-me" attitude. The parking lot has people honking at each other, driving the wrong way down a lane, and shopping in much the same manner. It is unnerving. However staff is kind, personable, and helpful. I probably wouldn't shop here again. I'd go to Park Ridge or Evanston. The people that shop here make it a challenge.”
