“Very small post office on the grounds of Techny. There's a handful of parking spaces outside. It's a short walk to get inside the building. I'm giving them 5 stars because the woman behind the counter was so kind to me as I stumbled through some forms I had to fill out. Patience is a virtue and this was one total employee who had it!”

Naomi, is exactly the sort of operator everyone should aspire to be and one USPS should treasure. She makes the experience hands down the best experience in the Chicagoland area. “By far, this is the most helpful, friendly, and well organized post office I have ever lived near. They routinely go out of their way to help you mail a package (even when you don't have the right tape or box), choose the correct shipping class and even will run out to the truck to retrieve your mother in law's Easter package because Yours Truly forgot to put her room # on the address. It is a jewel of a post office and I hope it stays open for a long long time.”
“I love this location even though I don't live in Lake Bluff. It's on the way to my workplace, which is very convenient for me. It's a small facility, bright, and it feels easy to get in and feel safe. Service personnel are friendly and knowledgeable; the process is fast, and waiting time is usually very short.”

“While headed to the Green Bay Trail for a run, I found this United States Postal Service (Glencoe Post Office) to be the closest near the trail while enroute. At the time, I had an eBay shipment that needed to be shipped out. I took a liking to its cute building which sat in a classy looking area nearby Glencoe Village Hall right in the heart of Glencoe! Via Village Ct, I was able to veer quickly into a parking spot rather than entering off of Hazel Ave. Along with its cute building exterior, the inside environment gave off a very positive vibe rather than a negative one. As I waited to be seen, I adored the postal clerks' interaction with a customer ahead of me, who had a young daughter. The interaction appeared so genuine which put a smile on my face immediately while in line and as I moved towards the counter to be helped. As someone who visits post offices regularly whether it be for Poshmark or eBay shipments, the postal clerk presented one of the friendliest vibes I have ever encountered at any post office location.After giving the clerk my package, he questioned me if it had anything liquid or hazardous inside then explained to me the shipment options for my package which I always choose the cheapest, hehe. As a Poshmark Ambassador on Poshmark, and someone with a 100% positive feedback rating on eBay as long as the package gets to my buyer I am always satisfied. I was on my way in minutes. I am terrible at doing the surveys pertaining to my visits at post offices, but best believe I always share some sort of a review. Being that I had a great experience, I would gladly utilize this United States Postal Service (Glencoe Post Office) again when in the area. ~ Embrace the journey. ~Thomas G”

Due to my own error, I put the wrong address on a package and Ebony has been tremendously helpful in locating the package. Ebony always picks up the phone and works tirelessly to make sure we all get our mail correctly. I am very grateful for all the hard work that Ebony and the entire team at this annex does!”
“I see a lot of bad reviews but I've been here probably about 10 times and generally don't really have any issues. And definitely not any issues that would not happen at any other post office I've been to. Yeah the workers might not have a fake customer service Smile on 24/7 but don't really expect it, they help with the transaction and then we're done”

“I have been going to this USPS quite frequently the past month and I've interacted with Davida almost every time. And every time I have interacted with Davida, she has been like an angel helping me through all the questions, concerns, and issues. She has been so kind and patient and I feel so incredibly grateful especially because I have seen firsthand how busy it can get at this post office. Even when there are groups of people that all come in at once, Davida works swiftly and efficiently without hesitation. Even when people get rude and short with her for reasons out of her control, she stays calm and keeps it moving. I am constantly impressed by her! She even recognizes me and acknowledges me by name. I feel like I hit the jackpot by being able to interact with her when going to USPS. I know I always come to her with problems but she has never stopped being kind and it is truly appreciated and recognized.
Also-- shout out to Ernie and Mark, my building's postmen, who have been so amazing and understanding even with my stint of excessive packages. Ernie even carried the packages to my unit.

I was concerned I might need to claim it as a loss but Mr. Paige deduced the problem, tracked its every whereabout, the exact problem, and had it tracked directly to the post office. “I had a great experience recently at the Morton Grove Post Office (June 2024). In order to officially change my mail forwarding address due to a move, I needed to go into the Post Office to confirm my identity, old mailing address, and new mailing address. Al at the front desk was great. He explained the process thoroughly and what I needed to complete it. He was also EXTREMELY patient when I was attempting to shuffle though my email looking for my leases and an email from USPS that I needed. I really appreciate how helpful and calm he was during the whole process and it was very seamless. Thanks Al!!!”
