“Cheap, and fast(same day work) with great quality work. To restitch, water proof and clean my work boots was $20. And I’m a sprink… if you know then you know how dirty my boots get(black water). Bring this place all your shoes I think new or old they can make any foot wear problems go away. I will be back!!”

“This is a great place to go for a pointe shoe fitting. Maribeth, made the process so painless. She was extremely patient. She passed on so much information that we have never heard before and this is our third pointe shoe fitting. “Golden Shoes was recommended by the rounding podiatrist at my mom's assisted living (Evergreen Senior Living). She has a spur on her left heel that's quite painful, so the Dr. said GS sells cushy shoes that could give her some relief. My mom is 88I phoned Monday, 4/29 at about 5:45 pm. The lady said she'd have to call me back, as the store was slammed. OK. Well, around 8 pm, Camille called back. I said, "It can wait until tomorrow; go home!" She said, "You sounded kind of desperate, so I called tonight." We ran through the situation and she assured me they could help.My mom had a Dr. appt. on Thursday, 5/2, so I wanted to kill a couple of birds while she was out anyway. Camille told me she might not be in when we came, but Mike could take care of us. And boy, did he! She hadn't be back of 5 minutes at Evergreen before receiving two compliments on the shoes. It's not about the fashion, but rather the comfort/relief the shoes bring. She said it was about 80% better.Mike was so kind, patient, professional, but relaxed; great sense of humor, too! I can't say enough about Golden Shoes, their staff and selection. We frequent restaurants nearby, but never knew the store existed. I'm so thankful Dr. Maureen recommended it. “Yesterday I was fortunate enough to go into your VonMaur Store in Bloomington/Normal Illinois. It should be noted that my friend and I received incredible customer service from Karen in women’s clothing, Ann in Jewelry and from a gentleman who helped us in Men’s Clothing. All three Sales Reps were juggling other people while we were shopping (and asking questions as well) and they showed extreme adaptability, knowledge of inventory, patience, and kindness. We were seriously going to walk out with nothing when Karen asked us to try a couple of different dresses and in different sizes and to make a long story short, we both bought the last dress that each of us tried on because of her incredible salesmanship and knowledge of the product, material and fit! A great experience to shop in your stores and she even surpassed the attention test that I always attributed to only boutiques.”

“I was sold shoes by a shoe salesman. As I looked for a pair of loafers to replace my current J&M discontinued model I was approached by Ron the salesman- manager of the Oak Brook location. I showed him a shoe I was considering. He asked me several questions of what activity I was going to be doing in these shoes. I was taken back a bit.
I’m not new to buying shoes. He seemed sincere and really wanted to know.
He explained how shoe construction for someone with my build- 6’2” 235 LB would find comfort in certain shoes builds- all loafers which I wanted to buy.
We had a conversation about several topics while I made my decision. Ron could sell ice in Alaska. We talked about everything from shoes to the white Sox to to Don Rickels to his 6 grand children. Not sure how he has 6 grand children as he looks about 50 but claims he’s 61. I tried on 6 pairs of shoes. I purchased 2 pairs. Who said customer service is a lost art? Stop by and see Ron at Johnson and Murphy of Oakbrook Center. He will find you a pair of shoes that are comfortable and stylish”
“LED and Safety is one of the only stores I would highly recommend to anyone looking for safety/ Hi-VIS wear of the best quality for the lowest possible prices. First and foremost, my experience with the owner was unforgettable. He made me feel comfortable with my every purchase and was extremely knowledgeable on all merchandise. It is quite obvious all items retailed are chosen with care, as I did not see a single one in the well-curated shop that was not of the highest quality in terms of brand, craftsmanship, and product reliability. Considering I am a highly-selective shopper, I rarely purchase multiple items from the same shop. As seen in the photos, I cannot get enough of LED and Safety. Visit the site, stop in and peruse for yourself- do whatever you have to do to purchase from such a reliable, trusted source. LED and Safety is definitely a must-visit, hidden local gem.”

“Like shoe carnival. The shoes are ok and the people polite. Never too busy. Parking ok and free. But there used to be a lot of exciting deals back in the day that made it worth the purchase. Now the shoes really are the same price as elsewhere. also I am a popular size so don't find a lot that fits me.
Love the shoe carnivals in Chicago though. They usually have my size and more interesting shoes. Think they probably just move more inventory.
Recommend though. I walk through every so often.”

“Needed shoes with out laces to tie, so slip in style met the need. Don't expect sales person to stay with you entire time as this is an outlet store. They did check inventory for exactly what you know you want and pointed out where to look for what was available. Nice sale going on and you could sign up for additional savings. Great bags to carry shoe boxes after purchase that can be used as a back pack too.”

“We have been coming to the store for over 7 years from north west suburbs of Chicago. What I like best is that my kids get measured on the spot. So I dont have to worry about the sizing. The owner knows the measurements and fit of all the shoes in the store, which makes our shoe shopping experience a breeze.
