“Yesterday I was fortunate enough to go into your VonMaur Store in Bloomington/Normal Illinois. It should be noted that my friend and I received incredible customer service from Karen in women’s clothing, Ann in Jewelry and from a gentleman who helped us in Men’s Clothing. All three Sales Reps were juggling other people while we were shopping (and asking questions as well) and they showed extreme adaptability, knowledge of inventory, patience, and kindness. We were seriously going to walk out with nothing when Karen asked us to try a couple of different dresses and in different sizes and to make a long story short, we both bought the last dress that each of us tried on because of her incredible salesmanship and knowledge of the product, material and fit! A great experience to shop in your stores and she even surpassed the attention test that I always attributed to only boutiques.”
“I came to the Allen Edmonds store at Oak Brook with a pair of Allen Edmonds Park Avenue shoes that I’d snagged during the Anniversary Sale. Given that I’d ordered the shoes online and that this was my first pair of nice dress shoes, I wasn’t 100% sure they fit properly, and I was looking to get some advice from one of the sales associates on the fit. Michael dispelled my fears by having me try on the shoes in-store and inspecting the fit by hand, explaining each facet of the fit and why my current size fit well. For extra reassurance, he also brought out a pair in the other size that I was considering to try on, to which he explained why the size I didn’t go with didn’t quite fit properly. Lastly, he explained the recrafting process when the time comes and the different sole options that would be available. Overall, Michael made the visit quick and easy, and reassured me that I’d made the correct choice. Knowing better for next time, I’ll be sure to visit the Allen Edmonds store in Oak Brook for my next pair!”

It’s been a year since my last purchase at Peak. I have had 3 iterations of the same shoes that I loved. I expected to just update to the latest version of the same shoes. Megan brought a pair of shoes out and the newest version was not comfortable.
I explained what I didn’t like about the newest sneaker. Megan found me two great alternatives. She then grabbed a laptop and walked me through all the color options to ensure I was happy with my purchase.

We won't to the same store and exchange them without any problem. I decided to choose other model s-light so I just payed extra 16 dollars. “Sonya was a wonderful help when I brought both my work boots and my casual boots in to be sent to the Red Wing factory for repair. She helped me prepare the shipping labels and ensured that upon repair they would be shipped back to my house rather than be sent back to the store where I dropped them off. After that was done she helped me with another pair of boots and several pairs of socks.”

The owner knows the measurements and fit of all the shoes in the store, which makes our shoe shopping experience a breeze. I went in with my very picky teenage daughter for her 8th grade graduation, if she found a shirt, she needed perfectly matching shoes etc. I was frustrated being in there for a couple of hours but orie and alma made it happen!! They went into the back to search for matching shoes and shirts, they went next door to the outlet to search etc. in the end my baby walked out extremely happy! “We love this dance supply shop. We have made last minute stops for tights, dance shoes, and earrings and every time Marybeth is very knowledgeable, calm, and helpful. Case in point: It was the night before recital, and of course we could not find my girl's ballet slippers. It was 30 minutes before store closing and I knew we would not make it to Saxton on time. I called to see if I could sneak in an order still. I paid on the phone and picked up the ballet slippers at the music shop next door. Marybeth saves the day!”
