“I had a wonderful experience at Xtra Mile! Both the owner Chris and the associate Kevin who I worked with were super resourceful and patient in helping me find the right running shoes for me. Appreciated the gait analysis they do at the store (having you walk/run on the treadmill and analyzing your video) and shoe recs. Ended up getting Brooks Glycerin Max on sale, which I’m liking so far. Chris is very involved in the community too and tries to be a resource for runners of all levels. Highly recommend this Xtra Mile Running!”

“Marissa was absolutely wonderful. My 6yo daughter has exceptionally high sensory feelings on the top of her feet. It's extremely hard to buy shoes for her. Even brands that offer Wide Width don't always miss that zone on the top of the foot by the toes and she just can't wear them. Vans collaborated with Kpop Demon Hunters and my kids wanted them sooo bad.
Was able to get their sizes and when I brought them home .... Like I feared, she wouldn't be able to wear them. I went back to the store to return them with daughter in hand to try on other shoes praying we could find something that she would be able to wear.
I explained my concern to Marissa and she absolutely understood and patiently went through box after box after box after box with not even a hint of frustration (a pure Saint). She found a high top that was even in the Kpop DH collection in a different size to give her that extra wiggle room (Thank you @Vans for being one of the few brands to offer 1/2 sizes) and that smile my daughter had when they fit and were comfortable is the reason us parents will go out of the way for. That smile was everything! Thank you, Marissa for having such patience and understanding with the dedication to help us get a pair of shoes today. It meant the world to me!”
“I got there at 6:45 pm and they stay past their closing time. They did not rush me at all we finished at 7:20 pm. I thought they closed at 8 pm. But they close at 7 pm. That is great customer service. Thank You staff.”

“I came to this Anthropologie with 8 days before my wedding (yes, it was a VERY fast turnaround wedding) with my mom and both of my sisters. I wasn't looking for a "wedding dress" per se, was looking for an awesome sequins dress. Myself, my mom and both of my sisters each found the perfect dress that evening. And we couldn't have done it without the amazing crew at this Anthropologie. “Visited the Dick Pond location in Hoffman Estates after being a long-time patron of the Park Ridge location, and was incredibly impressed and pleased by the level of service and the selection of shoes. It’s been a few years since I’d been out running daily and knew that Dick Pond would be the spot to go for a new pair of trainers. I worked with Mark, who ultimately fitted me up in a pair of Brooks Glycerin 23s. Great shoes, and once again I will say that I had a wonderful experience. I will be back very soon! 6/25/26: Adding to my review as I've just worked with Stella on picking up a new pair of speed shoes. Mark helped transfer the two pairs of shoes I was interested in from one store to this location for my convenience. The service was so great I wound up taking home both pairs. Even picked up a new pair of shades! 😎 Once again, the service was top notch. I have no problem patronizing a small business, and shopping local. Thanks again!!”
