“I recently rented a mini excavator and a mini skid steer for a large drainage project, where we installed french drains in the backyard and a large rain garden in the front. We did the proper install, not just the 12” deep pipe run: we dug 30-36” down, filled the trenches and the garden basin with gravel (about 180’ pipes were ran; 22 tons of washed stone was moved, and then backfilled and compacted). Mutual Rentals was AWESOME to work with. All very professional and their customer service is top notch. The rental process was super smooth - I explained to Cory what we were doing and the site limitations and he suggested the right equipment, all this done over the phone and texts. They showed up on time, the machines were well maintained, clean and easy to operate. Ryan, who dropped off both machines; did a great job explaining how they work and what to look out for. Pick up and billing was similarly smooth and convenient. I will add that as a woman who does / manages a lot of construction projects, I often feel treated differently / taken advantage of due to my gender, but not with Mutual: these guys, every single one I came in contact with, treated me with respect, professionalism and made me feel that I was a valued customer. Plus, the machines were incredibly fun to work with. Highly recommend Mutual Rentals for your equipment rental needs!!”

“One night I went into our bedroom and found a chipmunk on our bed. Quickly went to our local Ace and asked for help. The sales associate told me what product I could use (sticky pads) and gave me directions on how to use it, even suggesting using peanut butter as bait. I went home and followed his directions. An hour later Mr. Chipmunk was stuck to the pad and we were able to remove him from our home. Thanks Ace.”

“Good bunch of people. They know how to get you what you need . If they don't have it they find it and get it fast . Delivery is available, they have access to a lift that can get your stuff to the roof in many cases . Commercial sales here not for homeowners. Very nice that they stock more than one of most items . So you can get a couple of an item at one time . Many others these days have only have min stock on site and you always get told "I can have that for you in a day "”

“It has a moving walkway to get to the second floor as well as an elevator. Very friendly staff. Oh and they have a piano player on Friday. Garden center is packed with bedding plants and supplies for what you need in your garden.”

“Sam was outstanding. He took the time to walk me through everything and clearly explain how delivery could be set up, which I really appreciated.
I’m a veteran and not as young as I used to be, and I was honestly preparing to load everything myself, drive it home, and spend most of the day unloading. Sam showed me a much better option and made the whole process simple and stress-free with delivery first thing in the morning.
He was kind, patient, and professional throughout, and even managed to make the experience enjoyable with his sense of humor. It’s not often you come across someone who takes that level of care with a customer.

“We have purchased our hardware needs from Lake Forest Ace Hardware since we moved here years ago.
One of our purchases was a large Weber grill.
Late last week we had a storm in the area and our beautiful grill was picked up by a micro burst and tossed across the patio.
We called the hardware owner Chris and he personally came over and placed everything inside it that was all tossed into a mess back in perfect order and made sure it was working perfectly.
WHO DOES THAT !!!……..YOU CAN DEPEND ON THEM !!
