American Tails
1110 S Main St, LombardAll American-made pet food and products. Super clean store. Very friendly staff and there's a new puppy ambassador! My elderly dog eats Stella and Chewy and this is a great place to buy it. It's not a cheap product, but American Tails keeps the prices as reasonable as possible.
After all of the Chinese and foreign-manufactured pet food melamine and ingredient scares, I was happy to find a store that is conscientious about the ingredients in its food and what they stock. I appreciate products made in America, particularly when that means they're safer for my pet.
There's a big selection of different brands of food and lines within those brands. There are also natural treats, like bully sticks and duck heads (duck heads!!!). I worry about the grocery store treats that look like extruded plastic and must have a million additives and unnatural flavors.

There are some fun dog puzzles I'd like to try next for our dog.
I love that we can walk inside the mall with the dogs, even bring them into this store.
There are so many snacks to choose from to treat the wonderful pups at the end of a social day.

1300 S Main St, LombardWe just had our dog's teeth cleaned, and any procedure is more stressful to me than it is our dog! Aside from the clean facilities and promptness of our appointments, I really appreciated the constant communication by text before, during, and after her procedure. They were very accommodating with pick up schedules. We also had contact with the vet tech and the doc before and after the procedure. In the past at other vets, I felt that there were many hand offs and a lack of communication. Not here. I trust this place and the professionals that work there. I can't say my dog is less nervous, but I am!

We have two dogs that joined the family during the pandemic, and we were a little worried they weren't getting enough socialization with other dogs. We decided to check out Four Paws, and it was the best decision we've ever made! The staff is incredibly kind, super attentive, and definitely have a lot of love for the dogs they're working with. The day school at Four Paws is a great opportunity for our dogs to get some physical exercise and mental enrichment as they train and play with the staff and other dogs. In fact, one of our dogs has seemingly endless energy, and there have been a few times when we've picked her up from day school to find her so tuckered out that she falls asleep on the ride home! We love knowing that our dogs always have a blast when they're at Four Paws for the day, and it's even better knowing that they're being cared for by such an incredible staff!

Cake was very light, mousse was not overly sweet, just right. The cake was the smallest one they have but it’s reasonable. 4 of us had a slice and there was still a small piece left over. I can’t wait to try more from this place!

I ordered the combo fried rice along with a curry, and both dishes were genuinely enjoyable. The fried rice was flavorful, well-seasoned, and had a nice balance of ingredients without feeling greasy or heavy. The portions were generous, which made the meal feel worth the price and left me satisfied.
The curry had good flavor as well, rich and comforting, though it was slightly colder than I expected when it was served. Even so, the taste was still there and it didn’t take away too much from the dish overall.
The staff were kind and polite throughout the visit, and service was smooth and respectful, which helped keep the experience positive.
However, during my visit I was verbally harassed by a man in the area who even threw a coat in my direction, which was strange and unsettling. It created a brief moment of discomfort, though it didn’t seem connected to the restaurant itself.
Despite that incident, the food and service at Thai Kitchen were strong enough that I still left feeling satisfied with the meal overall.

By Appointment Only, 932 E St Charles Rd, LombardThe people in charge at CG and all the volunteers are amazing. They really care for the cats and kittens and do their best to do right by them. I love the impact they are making on surrounding communities, with multiple events like open houses, bake sales, kitty yoga and kitty Pilates. I can’t say enough about the adorable cats and kittens, and especially the wonderful people at CG. The place has really come a long way over the past decade. Love to see them thriving these days.
