1768 South Blanchard Street, WheatonI was referred by a friend to this practice and I’m so impressed with the care and service we received. We drive out of our way from a distance and it is absolutely worth it. It is always clean, staff is friendly and helpful, the veterinarian (we see Dr. Tawnia Zollinger) provides excellent care to our older dog and doesn’t push unnecessary treatments. They follow up with a phone call the day after. It’s a calm environment and have never dealt with a waiting room full of other animals. Small details make a big difference- calming pheromone bandanas, classical music playing in the examinations rooms. All positive things about Animal Medical Clinic of Wheaton!

Everyone is kind, loving and compassionate. My little dog has heart and lung problems. Dr. Murphy has pulled her out of very severe moments. Her new staff are unbelievably fantastic and compassionate! I love them like family! My dog too! I only wish they had longer and more hours. It seems like I need them on closed hours. That kind of stresses me out. I guess my dog has bad timing! Lol. Fantastic and trustworthy place!! But, please get longer better hours. Open on Wednesday please.

300 S Carlton Ave, WheatonI am a dog behavior professional with some pretty darn high standards, and I love Lap of Luxury. For my sweet pup who has separation anxiety, their Slumber Party option allows me to still be able to board her without the stress of knowing she's struggling through the night in a kennel. I found their vetting process very thorough, and I really appreciate their report cards with multiple photos and details regarding her feeding and medication. The staff have always been quick to respond and update me when requested, and are always very kind. This is the only place I've seen my pup feel comfortable walking back with a handler other than me, and comes back not seeming stressed and way overtired. I've recommended LoL to several clients and will continue to do so! Very much worth the drive from the city.

After bowling, Stella’s staff were so kind to offer to help us set up and provide anything else we needed. The food all came out on time and was ready for us after bowling. St. Sophia's Forgotten Felines
525 West Roosevelt Road, WheatonMy partner of 6 years and I just lost the second of our two black cats Beans and Squid, siblings adopted from St. Sophia’s in 2018. They died within a year of each other. I have lost soulmates in losing them. Even though I have never stepped foot in St. Sophia’s, I will be grateful to my dying day that St. Sophia’s nurtured and cared for them while they were waiting for my partner to scoop them up (and me) and make a family out of all of us. They were the longest in the shelter at that point to go unadopted, but they will never be forgotten felines to me! That very last one is our shrine to them (the plushie was handmade by a loving friend). Thank you St. Sophia’s :’)
