“1st and foremost the 5-Star Service is for Zarina at the front desk.
After speaking with someone at this hotel at 7:38p to confirm my reservation and informing her I'll probably Check in after 11pm she assured me even if I came at 1-2am my reservation was good.
I arrive at the hotel only to be told I had NO RESERVATION! It was canceled by the system. No call. No email notification. Nothing.
Taking a $40 Uber ride at almost 1am only to be told you don't have a reservation along with the other 3 guests and one lady (family) flew in with a brand new baby.
I won't even go into all of the details because this review will be 7pages long.
Horrible communication from Marriott Corporate / Customer service...but Zarina went over and beyond. She took the heat (when it was not her fault) and handled it very well and definitely made me feel like she appreciated having me here as a guest.
She got the manager on the phone. He Apologized but in the 30yrs as a business owner...I've gotten out of my bed many a nights to compensate my clients/customers when there was an issue.
No management showed up to assist Zarina with this issue. Everything was on the phone.
I've been staying at Four Points for over 6yrs. They're one of our hotel partners for our film company.
At the end of the day Zarina went from room to room to see if she could find me something. And she did. That's called Great Management Skills and she should be promoted to one:)

“A little bit of a drive from Chicago is a nice hideaway getaway for a relaxing day or night.
A private pool, hot tub, & steam room amplify the romantic date nights or just a quick break from the daily grind of society.
Clean room and facility/amenities. Temperature control is nice. Price is a bit up there for the more luxurious stays, but worth it if you don’t have the time to fly or drive to a different state or country”

“My family and I really enjoyed our stay overall here. The only reason I am leaving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of a breakfast crew employee who seemed to get on my case for wanting to fill my personal water bottle with the cold water in the breakfast area. It was during breakfast hours so the area was open. There was no line for the machine. If there was, I would've waited until there wasn't one, but she saw fit to remind me that there is a fountain just for water bottles next to the lobby restrooms. I told her I was aware, but it's not cold and I would very much like cold water. Unless there's some social rule (I'm autistic) that I'm unaware of, I don't know why this employee felt the need to talk to me about it. Every other part of our stay was amazing.”

They are currently going through new renovations, and it is amazing to see how smoothly and efficiently they handle everything during the updates without letting guest comfort slip.
A special shout-out to Mark, the property manager, he is easily one of the most dedicated, active, and hardworking managers I’ve seen. He goes above and beyond to ensure guests are taken care of, smoothly handling room adjustments and keeping everything running seamlessly behind the scenes. His hands on approach makes a massive difference.
Huge praise as well for Alex in maintenance He is always smiling, incredibly friendly, and gets repairs done quickly and efficiently whenever anything comes up.
Also, a big thank you to Joe and the front desk team for always being welcoming, helpful, and attentive whenever you step into the lobby.
It’s rare to find a team where everyone—from management to maintenance to the front desk works this hard through renovations to keep the hotel clean and long-term guests happy. Highly recommend!”
“Everything was great. However, one of my biggest pet peeves is standing in water that's backing up in the shower. The water in the sink also was backed up. The bathroom sink had backed up dirt in the sink.”

“I LOVE THIS PLACE! I am staying here now. How can I be so enthusiastic over a humble Home2? It's because I've stayed here several times over the years, and this hotel is CONSISTENTLY OUTSTANDING. The rooms are clean, the hotel is well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I really appreciate that Home2 hotels have coffee and tea in the lobby all day long. The lobby is a wam and inviting place to work on your laptop.
To note: a good amount of sailors and families stay here for Navy graduation, so there is more noise and activity in the hotel on graduation days, but no loud partying or anything excessive. It's heartwarming to see the new sailors and their families celebrating!”

“I gave the stars that I did it because for Father’s Day has drove an hour and 10 minutes from Griffith Indiana to this location because I thought it would be different, When we arrived, the room smelled old, not inviting at all, but we did have rose petals on the bed, which was nice. I had the cobalt the up and downstairs, sat down to relax, It was something happening with the pipes under the sink because every 3 to 4 minutes it would make like a draining/smaller explosion noise but very loud, So we couldn’t relax,
Ended up complaining and they moved us to another room, 30 minutes later,
So I felt like that ruined the experience that I wanted for my husband that day, especially after an hour and 10 minute drive.. They moved us to the lotus, which was I believe $10-15 more but I heard everything that was going on in the room next door ..not really sure how I feel about this place,
Not sure if I will go back..

“They didn't have a gluten free bread option at this location (according to the breakfast attendant) but this is the first time an IHG hasn't had that available in the 4 years I've been staying with the chain. The room was fantastic but housekeeping isn't as meticulous as I was when I cleaned for a living (grease splatter on cupboards, top of fridge dusty, someone else's hair left on bathroom counter and on shower wall and there was a spoon so jammed into the garbage disposal - but visible when cleaning the sink - I couldn't budge it, had to get maintenance). None of that is a big deal to me, just shows they are more about speed; turn the rooms over as quickly as possible rather than being thorough. Bummed I didn't have time to enjoy the pool. I would definitely stay here again, nice place”

“During our trip to the Chicago area, we stayed at the Hampton Inn by Hilton in Addison, Illinois, and it was a great, comfortable stay.
The hotel was clean and well maintained, and I was impressed with how spacious the room was. There was plenty of room to move around, along with a comfortable bed, sofa/seating area, desk, TV, and everything we needed for a relaxing stay.
One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast. They had a great selection with plenty of options, making it easy to grab a good breakfast before heading out for the day.
The location was another big plus. It's conveniently located right off the interstate, which made getting around the Chicago suburbs and continuing our road trip very easy.”
