7511 N Milwaukee Ave, NilesYesterday, I came in for the first time to use the self wash, and I must say that it is the nicest and most properly equipped self wash station! The girl at the front desk was super sweet and welcomed me with open arms and was very accommodating. The dryers are actual force dryers made for grooming, and that is necessary for blowing out my corgi mix. Every other self wash, especially the big box stores, are usually filthy and full of hair in the tub and on the walls and the some things are usually broken down in some way and the dryers are as weak as human hair dryers. Not this place though! The self wash is spotless and everything is in working order. I am so grateful to have a place like this to bring my dog to :) I even had the pleasure of meeting and petting a little mini golden doodle beforehand! (A very fluffy, well groomed and extremely cute doodle by the way! They must have just finished their grooming appointment.) Very friendly people, very clean place and very adequate station! You gained a “furever” customer :D

8780 W Dempster St, NilesWent there for brunch, with a reservation. We were seated immediately and the waitress came out with glasses of water for everyone seated. We all ordered a mix of breakfast foods and they all were absolutely delicious I ordered the salmon eggs benedict it came with pieces of smoked salmon and capers on an English muffin along with fresh fruit on the side. Absolutely delicious, and the fruit was not cold so you did not have trouble eating it for anyone that has tooth sensitivity is. We also ordered chai tea lattes and those could have been a little bit warmer but otherwise the flavor was there. I didn't 5 star the service just because we had to flag down the waiter when we were ready to pay. This is one of the places that I would most definitely come back to when I visit Chicago again.

Highly recommend this local NW side brewery for a quick beer or an afternoon or evening of drinking and maybe even brawling! Industrial-hip interior with large outdoor beer garden, where dogs are welcome. I have posted the beer and food menus from 9/17/26. Humongous beer selection. Though there are many breweries with better beer, the cool atmosphere is worth checking this one out!! We normally sit at the bar, so can’t comment on the service which, from reviews can be good to poor. Bathroom were clean.
For a brewery, the staff was remarkably normal! Few weirdos, beer snobs, and general punks.

Their Adenie Tea is my favorite and when it comes to their desserts, it’s a very hard choice because ALL are good, including these amazing peanut butter chocolate cookies !! Highly recommend!! ☕🍰🍪🍩

5720 W Touhy Ave, NilesPoke Bros was a great experience from start to finish. The restaurant was very clean, organized, and the food came out surprisingly fast. Big shoutout to the chef/cashier for handling everything smoothly while still giving great service.
I tried the Johnny Utah Bowl and The Duke Bowl — both were fresh, flavorful, and very filling. Even without traditional sushi rolls, these bowls give you that same sushi-style flavor with plenty of customizable options. If you like sushi and fresh ingredients, this spot is definitely worth trying.
