7951 Babb Ave., SkokieI don’t have enough great things to say about this place. I stopped in just peruse and ended up learning so much about my small dog, training, and breed. Hope, is one of the owners and will be as excited about your puppy as you are. If you have a small dog, you will not find better service, better prices, or a more knowledge person to work with.

Petco
9645 Skokie Blvd, SkokieI've been bringing my Shorkie, Rocky, to this location for the past couple of months, and I've had a great experience every time. Ella and Eva do a fantastic job grooming him; they're gentle, attentive, and he always looks adorable when I pick him up. The customer service is excellent as well. Carson and Ken are always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I highly recommend this location for both the quality of grooming and the outstanding customer service!

Animal Medical Center
8343 Skokie Blvd, SkokieAnimal Medical Center was able to take our cat when we had an emergency and didn't know what was wrong with him. Everyone else I called wouldn't take him, saying they were full. The doctor at the center was kind, knowledgeable and professional. There wasn't a long wait and the center was clean. I greatly appreciate the care they gave our cat and would highly recommend them.

Kandy Crush Melt
8007 Kenton Avenue, Skokie[EDIT: Updated from 3/5 to 5/5 stars]
I want to give a special thank you to the owner for their honesty, care, and sincere apology to make things right. That alone was more than enough, but their extra gesture was deeply appreciated!
I absolutely love this place. The pancake bites and chocolate are my favorite. Prices are very affordable and the service here is unmatched, attentive, welcoming, and warm enough to make you feel right at home. This kind of genuine hospitality is so rare, and it’s exactly why this spot will always have my support. Thank you!

Subway
4025 Oakton Street, SkokieReview written 3/21/2026. They let me use up a subway gift card to get just a bag of chips and skip the line.
Friendly and efficient, although they were confused by the gift card at first but the chips made a nice gift instead of the money sitting on a gift card lol

Starbucks Coffee Company
4116 Dempster Street, SkokieThis is my favorite Starbucks! It’s super clean and everyone is so nice. I had a picky order and Sara was not only happy to take care of my complicated order, but she also made sure that I liked it, and offered to remake it if not. But it was absolutely perfect! I appreciated the care and effort to make sure I got what I wanted. I’ll definitely be back again! In the meantime, give that girl a raise!
