Dog hair everywhere, no towels, no brushes, nor refilled shampoo on hand-I had to ask. After every dog leaves, it should be checked. Very nice staff, though.

2975 Milwaukee Ave, NorthbrookI used to work as a receptionist for a dog daycare, so I've had to talk to different vets all the time all over Chicago. Now, no longer a receptionist and I have my own puppy; Preiser was one of my top 3 to go to. I HIGHLY recommend, they have a wonderful staff and receptionists. The nurses are so kind, and treated my puppy with so much love. Like, I'm pretty sure my dog loves the vet now. They helped refer me to a specialist and helped me make sure she got the best care. Pricing wasn't terrible at all. The doctor called me personally to discuss my dog which I thought was really thoughtful. Also the lobby is so cute, and welcoming. Sometimes lobbies at vets can be rough, like they can smell, be dirty, have strange colors, and have uncomfortable chairs... but not here. It's so cute and cozy, the sun shines in, there are magazines, comfy sheets, and so much space if you have an uneasy or aggressive pet that needs space from other pets. Also I have to point out that all the plants have their own names it's adorable

She went above and beyond, showing genuine care, compassion, and understanding—not just for me, but for my dog too. Even though I ultimately didn’t go with this hospital because family was able to step in, Heather left such a strong impression that I will definitely consider Preiser in the future because of her. 3113 Dundee Rd, NorthbrookWhen I was fostering my dog this was the vet the shelter was bringing him to. I love that they work with shelters to help lower costs for that population. When I adopted my pup it was an easy decision to keep them as his vet. Worth the longer drive for us. I have had the best care every time I have an appointment. And when I have any concerns I send an email and they respond same day. I highly recommend Kohn.
Also my dog is not dog friendly and they schedule appointments so you are the only one in the waiting room. I have never run into another animal when coming in or out and that helps keep the animals calmer. A wonderful touch to what could be a stressful experience for the animal. 10/10

4091 Dundee Rd, NorthbrookI just had to write a review of Countryside Animal Clinic, because they have given the most incredible care to all of my pets. My 10 year old French bulldog, Bruno, recently became very ill. We had to make the decision to put him down as he was starting to have seizures and decline quickly. Mary, Countryside's manager, got us in quickly. It was a tough situation as I was flying back in from out of town. Having to do something like this with your beloved pet is so, so difficult. The staff at Countryside, from Naomi at the front desk, from the gentle care from Dr. Mary Hannah and to the love of Bruno from vet tech Chris, made what could have been the worst life experience much more bearable. They treated Bruno with so much love and respect. Dr. Hannah was SO kind in how she spoke to Bruno gently and lovingly. This was so calming and reassuring for me and Bruno. Chris held and hugged Bruno giving him little treats with tears in her eyes. Countryside REALLY loved my dog. I also can't forget to mention Dr. Malitz and all the other amazing stuff there. They literally have no turnover of staff which speaks volumes! I have had a rough couple of months and have sent countless emails and made many phone calls out of concern, and they were always kind, patient and helpful. Thank you Countryside for the incredible love and care you gave to Bruno.

Everyone I've met have been so friendly and helpful. I love that I can sneak a peek of his activities with their webcams. The location is convenient, right off of the Edens and the process of drop-off and pickup is painless. I also enjoy that there are plenty of guests on a daily basis, ensuring that Marvel gets plenty of entertainment and socialization.

2444 Greenview Rd, NorthbrookCannot recommend enough! Did we get training? No because after taking 40 minutes of her time to talk to us, Jody told us we did not need it. Instead during the extremely generous phone call, she told us things we could do to help benefit our dog. She did suggest training right before having a baby though, so when we are at that point we will be giving her a call! Highly recommend for honest and well educated training! PS she came recommended by our vet who is a very straight forward and dog-loving man!

Fried calamari app and chicken vesuvio were awesome but the linguine and clams was amazing. I would say the best I've ever had. The scallops campesante was super rich and tasty. Scallops were cooked a little over for my liking but that is nitpicking. The warm bread to start and ceasar salad were also great. I ordered a tirimasu which they comped for my birthday and brought out a scoop of Gelato with a candle. The tiramisu was to die for. Will definitely be going back and maybe getting takeout even sooner. Server also brought crayons and a coloring sheet to the table for my toddler which was great and was very friendly. Highly recommend!

Not only do they have a perfect golden color, but they also stay impressively crispy even after sitting for about 10–15 minutes while I was out in the cold ❄️? That crunch didn’t fade at all, which really says a lot about the quality. On top of that, they were seasoned just right, adding even more flavor to every bite ? It’s clear they put real care into getting their fries just perfect!
