Dog hair everywhere, no towels, no brushes, nor refilled shampoo on hand-I had to ask. After every dog leaves, it should be checked. Very nice staff, though.

Now, no longer a receptionist and I have my own puppy; Preiser was one of my top 3 to go to. I HIGHLY recommend, they have a wonderful staff and receptionists. The nurses are so kind, and treated my puppy with so much love. Like, I'm pretty sure my dog loves the vet now. They helped refer me to a specialist and helped me make sure she got the best care. Pricing wasn't terrible at all. The doctor called me personally to discuss my dog which I thought was really thoughtful. Also the lobby is so cute, and welcoming. Sometimes lobbies at vets can be rough, like they can smell, be dirty, have strange colors, and have uncomfortable chairs... but not here. It's so cute and cozy, the sun shines in, there are magazines, comfy sheets, and so much space if you have an uneasy or aggressive pet that needs space from other pets. Also I have to point out that all the plants have their own names it's adorable

The Complete Dog
857 Sanders Rd, NorthbrookFreddie and Carmela were awesome with Beatrice on helping get her nails trimmed. The were amazing, and Beatrice was well behaved. Last attempt, two people has to hold her down as the vet scolded her for nipping at them followed by them muzzling her. From now on, I'm driving my Princess Beatrice all the way from Barrington to The Complete Dog for her manicure! They took us immediately as well.

Not giving 5 stars, because it is very expensive, especially the medications, but find me a reasonable veterinarian anywhere!

4091 Dundee Rd, NorthbrookI just had to write a review of Countryside Animal Clinic, because they have given the most incredible care to all of my pets. My 10 year old French bulldog, Bruno, recently became very ill. We had to make the decision to put him down as he was starting to have seizures and decline quickly. Mary, Countryside's manager, got us in quickly. It was a tough situation as I was flying back in from out of town. Having to do something like this with your beloved pet is so, so difficult. The staff at Countryside, from Naomi at the front desk, from the gentle care from Dr. Mary Hannah and to the love of Bruno from vet tech Chris, made what could have been the worst life experience much more bearable. They treated Bruno with so much love and respect. Dr. Hannah was SO kind in how she spoke to Bruno gently and lovingly. This was so calming and reassuring for me and Bruno. Chris held and hugged Bruno giving him little treats with tears in her eyes. Countryside REALLY loved my dog. I also can't forget to mention Dr. Malitz and all the other amazing stuff there. They literally have no turnover of staff which speaks volumes! I have had a rough couple of months and have sent countless emails and made many phone calls out of concern, and they were always kind, patient and helpful. Thank you Countryside for the incredible love and care you gave to Bruno.

Preiser Animal Hospital Urgent Care & Wellness Appointments

She went above and beyond, showing genuine care, compassion, and understanding—not just for me, but for my dog too. Even though I ultimately didn’t go with this hospital because family was able to step in, Heather left such a strong impression that I will definitely consider Preiser in the future because of her. The staff and the pets there are truly lucky to have someone like her. Thank you, Heather, for being such a kind and caring human.

Dr. Hannah spends a great deal of time at each appointment making sure that we have any concerns addressed. All of the staff has been very kind.

322 Huehl Rd #5, NorthbrookWe have had one session with Carlos for our 10 month old Retriever puppy. As soon as our pup turned 8 month, he forgot all his training and how to walk on a leash. He is a big boy and it was nearly impossible to take him for walk and that led to destructive behavior at home (chewing furniture, mouthing, zoomies). In one session with Carlos, our pup learned how to walk calmly on a leash and listens to commands. As soon as we put his training collar on him, he obeys commands. We had trick or treaters yesterday and I had him in a stay while I passed out candy and he didn't move an in, even though I know he LOVES kids. We have been going on 2-4 mile walks and I can listen to a podcast while I walk him instead of constantly stressing about handling him. My son's relationship with our pup has improved. He listens to my son's commands and has stopped being mouthy with him. We are so excited to continue work with Carlos and Elly! He is SOO much better than a group class or any other trainer I have worked with.

2444 Greenview Rd, NorthbrookCannot recommend enough! Did we get training? No because after taking 40 minutes of her time to talk to us, Jody told us we did not need it. Instead during the extremely generous phone call, she told us things we could do to help benefit our dog. She did suggest training right before having a baby though, so when we are at that point we will be giving her a call! Highly recommend for honest and well educated training! PS she came recommended by our vet who is a very straight forward and dog-loving man!

It was very impressive to watch them work. Their patience and understanding while training my dog and the training suggestions they gave me have transformed my dog and instilled the behavior I was looking for. I will never use anyone else .

1358 Shermer Rd, NorthbrookOliverii is a cute place in downtown Northbrook. The atmosphere is warm, cozy and quiet, which our party appreciated because we could actually have a conversation! Our server was extremely friendly and attentive. Everyone in our party commented on how nice he was!
I had the pumpkin ravioli which was on their special menu. The ravioli itself was incredible, but the almond cookie crumble on top was confusing and didn’t add anything to the dish. Others got the meat lasagna and chicken cacciatore, which they both said was delicious! Someone else got the whitefish and said it was overcooked, but ate the pasta. The place was full and seems to do a good carryout business. There’s a parking lot in the back which was convenient.
