“My son needed to get his first checking account. We attempted to walk in to several other local banks and refused due to lack of employees. We decided to try BMO palatine. We didn’t schedule an appointment on a Saturday and walked in 8 minutes before they closed. Vidhya was so kind, willing to help my son and took her time helping him out and explaining how to use his mew accounts. We opened a checking and savings for him with her help. “Walked into the bank with a quirky request late in the afternoon. This is a moderately busy branch, luckily Rosa, one of two customer facing reps, was available. Well, Rosa, must be the flower of this branch as she worked hard to execute a transaction that required approvals, call to HQ and more.
To have Rosa patiently and effectively pursue a perfect outcome was evidence of a sincere customer orientation, which to me is often missing.

“I've used Citibank for years, here in the US, and in South American cities as well. I was sorry to see the branch office in Des Plaines close and move to Park Ridge, but I have to say the new facilities are very pleasant, the automated banking in the lobby is very comprehensive, and the staff have always treated me well. This seems to be hallmark for Citibank, because the foreign offices were friendly and competent as well. A bonus that I always look forward to is the complimentary espresso. It is real espresso and you can prepare it as a regular coffee size and strength drink or in the traditional, supercharging small espresso size cups.”
