“After using other, larger, appliance stores for years, I went to Coles after I bought a new home in order to buy everything - kitchen appliances (range, ovens, refrigerators, dishwasher) and washer and dryer - on the recommendation of people I was working with.
A huge commitment but I'm happy with the results. Kevin was very helpful as I bought the appliances, arranged for delivery, and followed up with minor adjustments once the kitchen appliances were installed and I started to use them. He listened to what I wanted and directed me to specific brands and models, I had much more personal attention here than I've had anywhere else and I feel comfortable that I made the right decision to go with Coles and to buy what Kevin recommended.”

“The LG BP530 Blu-ray Player I ordered through World-Import played the PAL format discs I ordered from down-under on my NTSC equipment with no problems. And that is even when sending the HDMI output through a wireless extender to a CVBS converter to an old CRT TV! I put in any kind of disc and hit play. I could not be more pleased.”
“Great selection (mostly online but decent in-store), great service, speedy delivery. Sarah in sales was super responsive. I started my renovation project at Studio 41 near Merchandise Mart (near my job) and in Lincolnwood (near nothing) and while the team in Lincolnwood was MUCH nicer than the folks on Hubbard (it wouldn't take much) there wasn't nearly the responsiveness and pricing transparency that I got at Ferguson. I was initially very overwhelmed by by master bath rehab- Sarah was easy to work with and worked well with my contractor to replace a Kohler tub that arrived with minor damage. Totally a 5 star experience”
“This update is based on my experience buying wood trim for a project: they have a great selection, and unlike my experience at Lowe's in Lincolnwood, their website is actually accurate and tells you which aisle/bin the item is in (see my Lowe's review for that cluster of a mess). I found what I needed, and they have a sawhorse set up so you can cut trim yourself -- I was surprised that they even had a miter box, as I thought that wasn't something they offered to avoid having people doing their full project cutting in the store. I needed to miter the pieces for my project, but I didn't know the exact measurements and had never used a miter box before, so I didn't want to embarrass myself trying to figure it out at 7am on Christmas Eve in the middle of a Home Depot. So instead I just cut the trim to the approximate sizes I needed with some wiggle room to measure it exactly later, and managed to figure out how to use a miter box at home after watching a Youtube tutorial. So, yay for that. Also after my adventures in elementary woodworking (lol), I needed wood filler/putty because the miter saw I was using was like 20 years old and not the most precise. Their website said they didn't carry the kind/stain shade I was looking for, but when I got there the day after Christmas, they did indeed have it. So, that was perfect. And now I have an awesome, handbuilt coffee table. About 5 years ago I also needed a random 1x4 (or maybe 1x6?) for a single shelf to fill the gap between my fridge and my wall, and one of their staff members used the power saw setup to cut that for me. That was also an easy peasy process. For my future random wood project needs, I'll definitely come here rather than Lowe's.”
“I have used Kelly for a number of years at my house in Wilmette and have had great experiences with service and communication.
Over the last decade, I have had them replace my dryer vent, and a few other laundry repairs.
Alex the owner and head technician is extremely knowledgeable and experienced, he is honest and prompt.

“I am not very happy with them. I ordered a vanity, and worked with a designer who was not responsive at all. I emailed about delivery, came over to ask her about timing, and she said she will be getting back to me. I was also supposed to order the rest of my master bath as well, but she was completely unresponsive. I also called the store to give them my contractor's number, so they can coordinate with him when I am out of the country. They called me, of course, on the date of delivery. They brought the delivery on time, but did not bring one of the sinks because it was backordered; they did not bother to tell me that when they were supposed to deliver the vanity. Bottom line- order from a different place. This is not professional at all.

Easiest way is to access the building is behind home depot ( first right from the highway go straight on the second light turn right you will see home depot on your right before you reach the light their is access drive way behind home depot you will see alot of pallet .follow the picture don't pass the light .”

“Business as usual, there welcoming, friendly and helpful. It ok when you coming to buy small stuff but it when you buying stove and dryer the big stuff that when you have problems they mounted the stove to close to window melt the blinds I was told fire it hazardous, call try to get the worker to remove it from being so close to they said no, now we buy a dryer from here the worker put sliver or duck tape on everything I don’t him to use clips he refuse then use that duck tapes on everything few day later all that mess came a loose call the store try get somebody help I got hang up the girl on the phone didn’t know nothing I had to go store buy a clip and paid a family hood the dryer up right. I paid for insurance not work out with Home Depot.”
“Their website was the easiest to use; after a few clicks I had reserved the rental I needed. On the day of--I walked in, gave them my info, chatted with the staff, and was on my way. Drop off was the same process. The cargo van was all I could want from a cargo van. The rates were reasonable--especially for a short-term rental.”
“I went there to get some muriatic acid and I saw a woman wearing a Home Depot apron and asked her where it was and she walked me all the way to the garden center and showed me exactly where it was! Her name was Shah and she was awesome!”
“Sam was outstanding. He took the time to walk me through everything and clearly explain how delivery could be set up, which I really appreciated.
I’m a veteran and not as young as I used to be, and I was honestly preparing to load everything myself, drive it home, and spend most of the day unloading. Sam showed me a much better option and made the whole process simple and stress-free with delivery first thing in the morning.
He was kind, patient, and professional throughout, and even managed to make the experience enjoyable with his sense of humor. It’s not often you come across someone who takes that level of care with a customer.

“We had HD install new carpet on the stairs down to our finished basement. We couldn’t be happier with every step of the process. Our salesman was very helpful in helping us make our selection. The time for our measurement and delivery/install were very reasonable and the two installers did a wonderful job - careful, clean and very friendly. We appreciated how they explained the difference between a waterfall installation and a Hollywood installation - something we had never heard of before, but opted for it and are glad we did.
