“I needed to have my sewing machine serviced. I never had taken it in to get a ‘tune-up’ plus was having tension issues requiring the help of a pro. I dropped my machine off at Mr G for their help. I was contacted once the issue was discovered and I needed to confirm whether to proceed and was given a quote. Exactly as they indicated, a few days later, my machine was ready and has been so smooth since! I love this place! It has a real neighborhood vibe and I could easily have gotten lost perusing all the machines that were in their shop. I’m definitely going to be back to drop off my serger and for regular servicing. I highly recommend Mr G for sewing machine repair! Every person I have encountered in person or on the phone has been friendly and extremely helpful.”
“After using other, larger, appliance stores for years, I went to Coles after I bought a new home in order to buy everything - kitchen appliances (range, ovens, refrigerators, dishwasher) and washer and dryer - on the recommendation of people I was working with.
A huge commitment but I'm happy with the results. Kevin was very helpful as I bought the appliances, arranged for delivery, and followed up with minor adjustments once the kitchen appliances were installed and I started to use them. He listened to what I wanted and directed me to specific brands and models, I had much more personal attention here than I've had anywhere else and I feel comfortable that I made the right decision to go with Coles and to buy what Kevin recommended.”

“Great selection (mostly online but decent in-store), great service, speedy delivery. Sarah in sales was super responsive. I started my renovation project at Studio 41 near Merchandise Mart (near my job) and in Lincolnwood (near nothing) and while the team in Lincolnwood was MUCH nicer than the folks on Hubbard (it wouldn't take much) there wasn't nearly the responsiveness and pricing transparency that I got at Ferguson. I was initially very overwhelmed by by master bath rehab- Sarah was easy to work with and worked well with my contractor to replace a Kohler tub that arrived with minor damage. Totally a 5 star experience”

“Good people working here. Fast unloading, I was one hour late for appointment because of bad Chicago downtown traffic, but the receiver didn’t care and put me on dock once I arrived.
If you are confused how to get there just put the Home Depot address in GPS and follow directions, they share same yard where both of their docks are (behind home depot). It’s easier to take kimball exit off the highway I 90.”

It ok when you coming to buy small stuff but it when you buying stove and dryer the big stuff that when you have problems they mounted the stove to close to window melt the blinds I was told fire it hazardous, call try to get the worker to remove it from being so close to they said no, now we buy a dryer from here the worker put sliver or duck tape on everything I don’t him to use clips he refuse then use that duck tapes on everything few day later all that mess came a loose call the store try get somebody help I got hang up the girl on the phone didn’t know nothing I had to go store buy a clip and paid a family hood the dryer up right. I paid for insurance not work out with Home Depot.”

Drop off was the same process. The cargo van was all I could want from a cargo van. The rates were reasonable--especially for a short-term rental.”

“I had such a great experience at Home Depot today. I walked in completely new to gardening and explained to one of the employees that I had no idea what kind of soil or plant food I needed. Instead of just pointing me in a direction, the kind woman I spoke with took the time to walk me through the different types of soil and explain what each one was used for. She also helped me choose the right plant food and answered all of my beginner questions without ever making me feel like I was bothering her.
She had such a friendly personality and a great sense of humor, which made the whole experience even better. As someone who's just starting my plant journey, it meant a lot to have someone who was patient, knowledgeable, and willing to help.
Great customer service is hard to come by these days, and she definitely made a lasting impression. Thank you for taking the time to help a new plant mom feel confident. I'll definitely be coming back to Home Depot for all of my future plant and gardening needs!”
