“I had a wonderful experience at Xtra Mile! Both the owner Chris and the associate Kevin who I worked with were super resourceful and patient in helping me find the right running shoes for me. Appreciated the gait analysis they do at the store (having you walk/run on the treadmill and analyzing your video) and shoe recs. Ended up getting Brooks Glycerin Max on sale, which I’m liking so far. Chris is very involved in the community too and tries to be a resource for runners of all levels. Highly recommend this Xtra Mile Running!”

“Visited the Dick Pond location in Hoffman Estates after being a long-time patron of the Park Ridge location, and was incredibly impressed and pleased by the level of service and the selection of shoes. It’s been a few years since I’d been out running daily and knew that Dick Pond would be the spot to go for a new pair of trainers. I worked with Mark, who ultimately fitted me up in a pair of Brooks Glycerin 23s. Great shoes, and once again I will say that I had a wonderful experience. I will be back very soon! 6/25/26: Adding to my review as I've just worked with Stella on picking up a new pair of speed shoes. Mark helped transfer the two pairs of shoes I was interested in from one store to this location for my convenience. The service was so great I wound up taking home both pairs. Even picked up a new pair of shades! 😎 Once again, the service was top notch. I have no problem patronizing a small business, and shopping local. Thanks again!!”

“Marissa was absolutely wonderful. My 6yo daughter has exceptionally high sensory feelings on the top of her feet. It's extremely hard to buy shoes for her. Even brands that offer Wide Width don't always miss that zone on the top of the foot by the toes and she just can't wear them. Vans collaborated with Kpop Demon Hunters and my kids wanted them sooo bad.
Was able to get their sizes and when I brought them home .... Like I feared, she wouldn't be able to wear them. I went back to the store to return them with daughter in hand to try on other shoes praying we could find something that she would be able to wear.
I explained my concern to Marissa and she absolutely understood and patiently went through box after box after box after box with not even a hint of frustration (a pure Saint). She found a high top that was even in the Kpop DH collection in a different size to give her that extra wiggle room (Thank you @Vans for being one of the few brands to offer 1/2 sizes) and that smile my daughter had when they fit and were comfortable is the reason us parents will go out of the way for. That smile was everything! Thank you, Marissa for having such patience and understanding with the dedication to help us get a pair of shoes today. It meant the world to me!”

“Emily was very helpful. I came in to buy boots cause my old boots were wearing out and they only lasted me a year. Emily helped me out and did a scan of my feet to get the right boots to fit my feet and recommended different boots. I was happy with the new boots. Her customer service was great.”
“Woodfield docs is the best. Everyone who works here is always so nice and very stylish looking. Amanda was beyond helpful and patient. I haven't got docs before so I didn't know my size and she brought out so many sizes and pairs for me to try on. I ended up buying 2 thanks to her bringing out those brown Mary janes. She gave me advice for how to wear them and told me about how much she loves hers! The store is also very clean and organized, great experience and customer service.”

“I came to this Anthropologie with 8 days before my wedding (yes, it was a VERY fast turnaround wedding) with my mom and both of my sisters. I wasn't looking for a "wedding dress" per se, was looking for an awesome sequins dress. Myself, my mom and both of my sisters each found the perfect dress that evening. And we couldn't have done it without the amazing crew at this Anthropologie. Not only did they make this shopping experience so fun, but they were helping bringing us all the dresses they had, and overnighting a particular dress - only ONE left in the entire country.
