“My husband is NOT a hardware store kind of guy. He loves going to Geneva Ace Hardware because as soon as you walk in the store someone approaches you to ask how they can help you. They are respectful and use simple, non-threatening 'hardware language' when explaining options. They usually are able to answer your questions, and if they are stumped they use other team members as a resource. I have had many positive experiences with the employees who have assisted me in the paint department. Also, if I need something slightly out of the ordinary I have been able to source it at Geneva Ace. Great store, great people.”
“I called the store to learn about a snow blower. Fran helped me, she may be the manager or assistant manager or just a fabulous associate, but regardless, she had the snow blower waiting for me and she answered all of my questions. I was out of there quickly and happily.”
“I Always enjoy my trips to Rural King. Tonight we were hit by a severe thunderstorm. Leading up to the storm l observed the Manager distributing flashlights to the store employees in case the power went out. This is excellent leadership. (The power did flicker but ultimately stayed on.)”

“Our go to hardware store! The staff at the Yorkville Menards are so kind and helpful! It’s always our first stop when working on a project. And of course we love the rebates! Our favorite is when the Christmas trees are on display in the center of the store! It creates a beautiful winter wonderland that is sure to put anyone in the holiday spirit.”
“We bring our Geoprobes here when we don't have time or the skill level to fix any of the issues that arise. Ryan, the Geoprobe mechanic, knows his craft and will take care of you and your Geoprobe. They do service and sell all makes and models of drill rigs.”

“So I was happy working with Home Depot and it appears that the install of the backsplash was done properly but I was not impressed with the installer from GS FLOORING who did not do a great job cleaning up after. Wasn’t happy that the installer did not protect the area he was working on with a drop cloth or something.”

Prior to delivery, Donovan- the new dept manager of pick up order- reached out and told us the display was going to be sent and that the screws were of different color and sent a picture- it was nice to know that we were told this before being sent. The item is going to be discontinued so it was all that was left. We just appreciated the customer service and honesty. Thank you, Donovan!”

“Logistics Manager, Lori Peterson came upon me and saw I was perusing a couple tool box choices. Lori was knowledgeable, helpful and empathic. I explained the difficulties of bringing it to my home (especially on a Sunday) and Lori was able to help me figure out the logistics. I’m very happy with my selection and the product itself is very nice. I highly recommend Lori and her staff (especially the very nice gentleman who helped us load it into the box truck). I will definitely be back for my next project.”

“The customer service at this location is hands down one of the best. While I've typically always had good or decent interactions with these associates-I feel Ashley went above and beyond. I had called in to check and see if a certain artificial xmas tree was in stock or a restock was happening anytime soon. It was not in stock and she didn't know when or if it would be restocked. She offered to see if anything was available in the surrounding area and found a HD in Glendale Heights that had a few. That was the end of our conversation. A few hours later, I get a phone call from her stating a customer just returned the exact tree I was looking for and if I was still interested in that tree. She literally looked and the phone log for that day and found my number. How she remembered what tree I was looking for or found my number is amazing. I should have played the lottery that day. The tree is up and looks amazing. Thank you for being so pleasant to talk to and taking the time to reach back out!”

“Fantastic Experience at Sugar Grove Ace Hardware!
I had an excellent experience renting a carpet cleaner from this location. The rental process for the Bissell machine was incredibly easy, and the Bissell cleaning solution worked wonders—it completely revived our carpets, turning them from a worn-out gray back to their original white!
A huge shoutout to Irene, who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the machine. She took the time to explain how everything worked and clearly outlined the expectations for returning it clean, which I really appreciated.
