321 E St Charles Rd, Villa ParkWe went to Dak Dak for the first time since we went to Villa Park for an event. We were both pleasantly surprised by how delicious their wings were! Ratings: Bone in wings: 4.8/5 perfect crisp and flavor! Sauces: 4/5 we really liked the soy garlic, Dak Dak, and the ranch! Cole slaw: 2/5 it's not as creamy/sweet like traditional Cole slaws it's more of a regular slaw Sweet potato fries: 5/5 perfectly crispy and yummy! House fries: 4/5 good but sweet potato fries were way better! Radish: 2/5 not like Korean pickled radish - lacked normal sweetness Ambiance: the spot is more of a take out spot. There's a few seating but not many! It is great for a quick meal. We will for sure swing by again for wings if we are nearby!

Funky Java Coffee House
40 S Villa Ave #6, Villa ParkWish I could have stuck around and enjoyed the moment in this disheveled strip mall coffee shop! I was surprised with the high reviews, first glance shows old and worn out, a small basic menu, curious music hall in the back certain to blast the ears, and compared to the modern mainstream reformed hipster java joint, this is the opposite. With a second glance quickly realized the one man band barista is friendly and threw together a funky mocha quickly and for much less than other Chicago area caffeine cups cost! I had a good sip on my way home despite a lot of ice getting stuck in the straw. He suggested I try the almond dessert buns next door so I did. Also a big win!

324 E Central Blvd, Villa ParkTribute in Villa Park is the coziest, quirky little night spot around! Tribute is not way off the beaten path located across the street from the Villa Park Historical museum and the Illinois Prairie Path.
When you're inside Tribute you just feel at home and you get a neighborly backyard party kind of feeling.
The staff is super friendly and they have a fun trivia night on Wednesdays.
There's a spacious outdoor patio and a cozy banquet/ meeting room with floor to ceiling windows that makes you feel like your outdoors.
Tribute is a great little place!
